Best irons of 2024?

Who’s taking the title this year? I’ve not seen many tests or solid results yet, but would love to hear some feedback on which set or sets, you guys are going with.

I'm enjoying the T150s I just got. Although I've got to weaken the lofts or something. Everything is too hot.

I mean it's not a 2024 release but T350 is still a current game improvement iron.

 

I'm a mere mortal but I just recorded 186 carry off 126 ball speed with a 7 iron in a speed training session in the sim after playing and I can absolutely guarantee that I haven't done such a thing in a long time

Had the mkii switched to the 245s. You will not regret switching, They are amazing irons.

Ping Blueprint S deserve to get a lot of love in 2024

Cobra King CB are amazing but the Ping Blueprint S come in a close 2nd.

It's all subjective, I love my current gamers, Apex 24 MB/CB combo, I do like the Cobra King Tours as well, that said, the best set of irons are the ones that works best for each of us...

I’m a big zx7 fan, and I have NOT tried the 243/245’s, but I must say that those seem to be awesome and a big improvement over last year from reading through some threads. Would love to give them a shot!

I loved my mkii shot the best round of my life with them, but ever since I sold my mizuno and got them I was always missing mizzy so I went back and couldn’t be happier.

Mizuno 245 is gonna go down as the best most likely for 2024 iron releases.  They're on FIRE for Mizuno.  Nothing wrong at all with the others mentioned so far, T150 Srixon Zx MKii or Pings...but the Mizuno's are the real deal of the new releases.  

 

And yes, I'm waiting impatiently for my order to come in too 😉

Aesthetically I think the Blueprint S wins hands down, but any of the 241, 243 or 245 are amazing and Mizuno has so many free shaft upgrades it hard to justify not going that direction if you are buying new.

I will go a different direction, Maltby TS3 irons.  As good as any out there and half the price

New Callaway Apex CBs are the purest irons I've ever hit. 

 

Initially started with a combo set (4-6 Pro), (7-8 CB), (9-10 MB) and found the CBs to have much better feel and more desired offset. The '24 Apex Pros play like the former Apex's, and the CBs play more like my old 2016 Apex pros (but buttery) -- honestly surprised I didn't read more about that when the new apex line was released - seems like a marketing ploy to have people who should be playing Game Improvement irons in a Pro to make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 

Good news is Callaway is running a great trade-in trade-up promo so I was able to swap my Pros and MBs with CBs -- now a full CB bag.

For me; last year I was all about PXG. This year giving New Level a go.  Next year might be another DTC brand…
