New Nike Method "Mod" putters?

These look great but no putter is worth $300 I believe.

I think for the right price post, these putters might sell. While they look weird from the sides, but at address you probably can't notice how curvy it is. I guess. Will definitely need to try one out in person to get an idea how weird they look.

Yup. But to be fair, my initial few rounds the specs were off so I really didn't have much confidence with it. After I had the loft and lie adjusted I didn't have time to get used to it due to some tourney's etc had to stick with what worked. I plan on putting it back in the bag soon though.

The lie angle was way flat, 67˚ vs. the 71˚ it was supposed to be, I think it might have been bent when we moved recently.

the MOD 90 just looks great IMO. Simple and to the point with higher MOI with the weights pushed to the heel and toe. It may or may not make the bag but it will sure have a shot.

I really hope they keep the method midnight line. In my opinion it's a great looking finish. Probably the one that makes the putters seem the least cheap.

My only regret was that they didn't have more head options. I loved the 008 but went back to my buttonback. The 006 was too small a head and the 007 wasn't for me although I love the model number ha!

I believe one of the insiders have already stated that the Midnight line is being discontinued.

Just goes to show you different strokes for different folks. I thought the midnight finish was the worst finish possible and made it look like a plastic walmart putter

Agreed. If only they would release the same type of equipment they produce for the guys on tour...at least in terms of finishes...Less is more.

You guys are right. It definitely is different strokes for different folks. I mean heck, I like my buddies method core better than the 001 my other buddy has. Just from an aesthetics stand point

Found these pictures. Looks like the toe is pretty high, and they have really tried to maximize MOI.

I agree 100%... I'd love to get the flare neck put on my 001 but can't find anyone that will do it because of the Polymer.

I for one think they look way better in person than in picks. The 30 and 60 don't look as curved as they did in picks but the rep did (when asked) acknowledge the use of the "rocker" sole. The 90 is pretty curved on the bottom. Unfortunately, no sample of the 00.

Plus they come with a much improved head cover. Not quite the black swoosh cover (still ticked about not getting one by the way) but better than any other stock release.

I really wish Nike the most success with this new line.

I'll definitively pass on the mod (as I did with the core) with the hope that someday the Rory/Tai 006 ( I definitively prefer Tai's with the sight dot) will be available to the rest of us .

I saw sooooo many posts saying the same about the 006 proto that maybe it would be a good idea to make a waiting list (poll style?) of all of us that really want to have this putter... anyway I'll keep dreaming.
