PXG is played out. They have some catching up to do (a new look? lose the screws?) to stay competitive.

A smaller 790 would be tempting!

I am alllll in on a slightly smaller / thinner P790. Can't wait to here more about this. (whatever they are, please make them left handed)

I personally like the size and prefer the feel of the 5-7 over the 8-P. Must be something to do with the speed slot or whatever they call it.

I have not gotten along with the AW either and have gone back to a Ping Glide 50 that was bent to 49* and the same length as the PW as it fills the gap fine and I prefer the feel.

The more I play the set the more I like them. I pulled the grips the other day and inserted Prosoft inserts so I hope to try them out this weekend as I want to stay with the 790's with DG 105 but may have to bite the bullet and go graphite to take the load off my aging elbows.

Tried a set of Callaway CF16's With Recoil 110's but didn't care for the feel as they seem softer in the middle.

Hit a P790 with a Steelfiber i95 last night at Carl's Golfland and that setup was awesome. I want to try the Steelfiber 95 and 110 before making a decision though.

Probably will just play the P790's as is with the Prosoft inserts for the rest of this year and then decide on graphite during the winter.

As soon as the new cobra MB/CB set comes out, I’m selling my 790s.

But...if they made a bladier 790...I’d stick around maybe. I do like the 730s and the foam performance is undeniable.

Surely they'll have a different name if they are smaller and more compact as they'll no longer be 79mm long?

I saw the thread about the P760. Will there be a new P760 and a new P790?

I absolutely love my P770's, but I'm interested to see what improvements they could make. I would like to build a combo set so I'm hoping they revamp the entire line.

I love my P790 irons 3-7 but I feel like the short irons only go straight up in the air and I struggle with trying to flight them lower and with distance control. Very interesting. If true, and depending on how they look, I might stay with a TMAG bag instead of looking at Mizuno.

I wonder what design they will follow for the P760’s? Will they resemble the P750 or the P790 in the cavity?

Same here, I’m hoping for something along the lines of the 750... However as long as it’s a simple design without a crazy color scheme, I’ll more than likely be in.

I just do not want any ugly or gaudy badging. A nice clean cavity or one similar to the P790 would be great!

Would the 760s replace the 790s? Or would they be in addition to the 790s?
