Sentimental favorite is Joe and Leigh's in Easton MA. not the biggest but they carry all the clubs and also have a lot of used clubs as well. Always treat you really well and the staff had been there forever too which is really nice

I'll second that. Best golf shop anywhere and it's less than a mile from the best bbq anywhere (Starnes BBQ).

    i have two favourite shops...

Roger Dunn in Santa Ana California... was just there this week. It has the best selection of new and used clubs that i have ever seen and lots of upgraded spec clubs.

PGA Superstore in Orlando... was there in Feb and bought several clubs from them this year.

I am very disappointed in Canadian golf stores in general... Golf town was at one time awesome however they have steadily gone downhill over the last several years.

I can definitely see why there is so much love for the Santa Ana Roger Dunn store.

(First full set from one OEM ever)
Driver: M6 (10.5 deg) with Project X Smoke 60X playing at 45 inches
    3Wood: M6 (14 deg) with Project X Smoke 70X playing at 43 inches
Hybrid: M6 #3 with KBS Tour Hybrid Prototype 95X
4-GW: P760 with KBS Tour X (all bent 2 deg flat)
HiToe Wedges: 56/10 and 60/10 (all bent 2 deg flat) with 2.0 hi-rev shafts
Mullen 2 TP putter @ 34 inches (Several TM putters found their way home and I am currently in test mode)
Undecided TP or TPx ball (testing to follow outdoors with Trackman and on GC Quad indoors)

all grips 360 tour velvet burgundy with 1 extra wrap

    Sun mountain 4.5 stand bag

    Another vote for Haggin.

They have everything you could ask for, and a wide selection of clothing!

You can go outside and try out putters and the wedges through short game tests.

Go outside and see the ballflight from different companies, including Fourteen, Honma, Miura, and other companies that are harder to find for demos. image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

What he said! Tons of used equipment and all the new stuff too. Must have had 75- 100 vokeys to pick from. Have been in there before and a current Champions Tour player stopped in. A hidden gem in Western KY.

Brentwood CC in Los Angeles. They sell everything at a deep discount, including stuff like Scotty putters. 30-40 percent off.

Amazes me that more private clubs don't do this instead of charging their members full, or close to full, retail.

Roger Dunn in West LA is my go to shop. Remarkable how many people shop there who are private club members.

The shop itself might not be the greatest, but combined with the “cluboratory” and being based at a nice driving range, Miles of Golf in Hamilton near Cincinnati is first rate.

The “cluboratory” has a vast selection of heads and shafts that can be demoed on the range with the assistance of very good fitters.

Even if you don’t wish to pay for a full fitting on top notch launch monitors hitting out onto the actual range and seeing your ball flight, you can still try a huge amount of new equipment on the range on your own.

This sounds amazing. Nothing like that in Texas that I know of.

Kinda like wandering around Pete Carlson's Golf & Tennis Shop when were in the Palm Desert, CA area. Lots of bargains, they allow customers to take any club in the store out to the course (taped up) and demo it, if you don't like it return it no Q's asked, if you like it and want to keep it, just phone them and they put it through on you cc. As well, the guys in the club repair area have helped me out with minor work/adjustments while I wait. They also have the best demo days event in March with all major manufacturers present at the College of the Desert golf practice facility, you have the opportunity to hit any club currently available on the driving range, all for free, & lots of fun.
