Curious as to what everyone has reached their highest ball speeds with, using which driver head? I'm interested in seeing if certain heads helped everyone or if they are all user specific. Mine would be the Epic Sub Zero.

Mine was a Adams 9015d 9.5 with a graphite design YS 7x tipped an inch. I touched 187 ball speed with that driver when I was a bit younger.

Currently the SIM has been the winner. With a KBS TD shaft I have gotten to 182, but typically hover around 177-180.

The new Cobra Speedzone has my fastest ball-speed (178) but strangely not my furthest carry distance. That went to the SIM.

SLDR 430

162 with m4 2 years ago. Mav sub zero hit 160 in January and both sim drivers hit 159.

I plan to hit 163-165 by year's end. Gonna focus on adding strength after I lean out over the next 2 months.

Update...checked a trackman report from a session back in october...

M4 hit 161.6 twice (it hit 162 in a fitting in November 2018)

Ts3 hit 160

SLDR 430. unfortunately it was probably the least forgiving club I've ever owned. It was either bomb or dud lol.

I tested the Epic Flash Sub Zero, the Mavrik Sub Zero and the SIM at the same time and the SIM won the overall, but the highest ball speed was the Epic Flash.

The Epic Flash SZ, the ball speeds were consistently better than anything else before. Mavrik is close. I just don't care for Cally drivers at all.

Probably a Macgregor Eyematic persimmon. I was not so old and decrepit back in the late 70’s and early 80’s.

Rogue sub zero w/AD TP for me, hit between 163-164 ball speed a few times, for whatever reason the Epic flash sz didn’t work as well with the TP. Flash sz with Ventus Blue, and Aldila synergy green prototype both got to 162 ball speed, but admittedly I have lost a bit of muscle since last year. Have not hit any of the new driver heads.

I find it pretty interesting that nobody has claimed the King LTD and Pro versions, with all the praise it usually gathers on here. I'm also shocked at the multiple SLDR 430's and no M1's. Definitely seems like Taylormade is the leader so far

Since im getting old and has lost lots of club speed, its non of the latest models out there, but was a Ben Hogan CS-3 8.5* FADE with Aldila NV 75 S shaft with a play length of 44.00". That club gave me the longest drives of my life, so think it was one of the better heads from those days.

2017 M2 for me. Averaging 166mph ball speed over the last two seasons. Swapped stock shaft for an Aldila NV X flex. Best all around driver I've ever hit. You can pry this from my cold dead hands!

TS3 is close but at least I get to hit a second shot more often!

Back in the Vector launch monitor days, I hit some high numbers with Cobra X speed and XX speed. Those heads were hot. Still have them in a basement bag and can’t believe how big the face is on them.

SIM put up a 192 spot for me... SLDR 3 wood though with a 179! Still in the bag too

I've really never been on a good launch monitor, but I hit the longest drives of my life 10-12 years ago with a Cobra X Speed Pro S driver. I probably averaged 290 yards a drive with that thing, and would hit at least 5-7 drives a round that were over 300 yards. I'm not quite that long nowadays, so I would say that was my best driver ever.

M3 440 9* with both weights forward with Tensei White. Reached 161 during my fitting session. But it wasn’t forgiving enough when I stopped playing so often after my son was born. Still got to 157-158 with my M4 8.5*.

SIM Max got up to 178-181 for me, but that was mostly due to the lighter weight and not something I felt I could control. As someone that typically lives in the low to mid 170's I still want to set one up with my heavier spec and see how much ball speed changes.
