Haven't read through the whole thread but my vote is for the Wishon 949. That club will hang with anything off of the tee or deck. To the untrained eye it looks like it belongs in $9.99 bin at Play It Again.
Honorable mention goes to SMT Solitaire. Pretty old school but the "2.5 Wood" in 14* was the original 3 Deep for me. Had one with a Penley ETA Tour that was as long as my driver.

The VSteel, MP-650,Adams Super LS, and CB2 are FAR and away from being "sleepers". Each one was arguably the best Fairway Wood of their year(s).
That's like saying the 2002 Corvette ZO6 is a "sleeper".
For real guys.
A perfect example of a bomber that flew under the radar would be the Nike SQ Square Face 4wd... or a Sonartec, or a Grenade.
The MP-650 is good enough to be a sleeper for me. Not many have even tried it let alone gamed it. Mizuno FW's are often way under the radar.
It is a fantastic 3 wood... hence that is why I would never call it a "sleeper". It is renown on the website; in company with the R7 TP, 2007 Burner TP, CB2/4, AB TP, and the VSteel. The MP-650 was cult worthy for awhile... that's why I would not call it a "sleeper"... more like a legend.
May not fit in the strictest sense, but R9 fairways do not get the atttention of their brethren. And they are really good.
I'm very happy with mine.
I'm struggling with my fairway woods right now, but I know it's me and not the clubs. I've hit too many good shots with my R9 4w to give up on it that easily. Good off the deck, good of the tee. I like the shallow face profile, and the head shape (slightly pearish) is nice, too.

Callaway razr fit went way under the radar. I believe it came out about the same time as the RBZ. The razr fit was just as long, was forgiving, and had a nice small profile.
My son brought one of these about 8 months ago, thought he was looking at an EPIC, the price of $120 (still in the plastic wrap probably should have been a hint /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> ) so brand new been sitting on their shelf for a couple of years, stiff shaft was a bonus, he brought it anyway and loves it.
Original Callaway Big Bertha 3 wood /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />. New favorite is Cobra Baffler or Bio Cell +. Not sure they are sleepers though but did not see anyone else mention these?
Among many well respected and received Taylormade fairways (V steel, 200 tour, 07 burner TP, r7 TP, m2 tour, etc....) rarely see mention of one of my favorites- the 300 tour.🔨

They also made a few specific grips with the .680 core that you installed normally.

My TEE CB3 5w is actually now my 3W due to the carry distance, didnt' realise the 2 yard dispersion with my 3W till I got on Trackman.
Any FW that can free up a whole slot in your bag is a winner!
