Just received my latest Lajosi. This is an idea I have worked with Kari a while on. Sensor model, heavy head (370 grams) with a full face copper insert that extends through the face to the cavity, where he did his extruded Lizard logo. Sightline on top, no paint fill in cavity, bumpers, or sole. Face has his milled groove with his name in a vertical stack under the hosel .

 

Also added a nice little touch with the copper shaft band with lizard logo milled into it.

 

 

So it was you!?!?!

 

That is an amazing putter, and a great design idea.

 

Feel free to add me to the list of potential purchasers if you choose to move it on.

 

I currently have the Piretti CU first Run which has the full copper insert face - but your putter easily kicks it in the nuts.

Thanks! Yeah, it was an idea I had a while ago and Kari was awesome to work with to pull off what I envisioned. He's been one of my favorite, if not my favorite makers for a while now. And this really helped to solidify that feeling toward him. Can't wait till the copper insert and shaft band gets some dark patina on it

Not sure what the deal is with the 2 COAs, maybe someone here can shed some light as for the reason for 2 COAs. Can't tell if its been refinished, but it doesn't look like. Again, maybe someone her can tell. In my excitement, I forgot to ask the seller. I've got his contact info, so I'll send him a message.

This season, my putting has been atrocious. What to do? Buy a new putter! Previous putter was a 35", and I constantly struggled to align and get comfortable. This is my first premium putter, and an impulse buy...typically a recipe for disaster. I tell myself that I would never make a blind purchase like this, though I am happy so far in the honeymoon phase.

 

I really like the two-dot alignment system. It is helping me confirm the lie angle of the putter is correct at address. The face is soft, and the sound is a different sound, "tongk" (?). The milling is very high quality, and I like the heavy weight head (370 grams in the 34" model). I am looking forward to a full season with this next year.

 

Pros:

- High quality

- Soft feel (if that is what you are looking for)

- 2-dot system is unique and helpful for alignment

- Minimal toe hang (plus for me)

 

Cons:

- Trivial, red and white grip/cover are not my style (easy to remedy)

Just bought a Juanputt putter 43 inches. Taking it to the course tomorrow, feels great on the carpet but the course is the real test. The training aide that comes with it is really helpful to get the face on putting stroke down.

Have you putted Side Saddle/Face-on before? How tall are you? I am 5'9" and my JuanPutt is 40". I have been tinkering with the side saddle method for almost a month now. I am in the process of trying my 5th different putter for this method in an effort to nail down a technique and set-up that provides the best feel and results. Please keep me posted on your progress.
