What putter did you just buy ?

I've been a slant/flow neck guy but want to try an Anser style.

 

Going with extra weighting to 375 and a Lamkin Sink round 13" grip.

 

Have a special release Del Mar buttonback on the way. Might go to my wife for Xmas.

 

Still would love to pick up a Newport 1.5 buttonback.

Instead of buying one I chose to refinish a 2014 Scotty Select Newport 2 with a matte black finish and it looks awesome! Probably buy a new putter soon though just because that's what I do..

I just bought two more classic putters on EBay. A MacGregor VIP heel shafted and a Wilson 1980 forged original Geo Low. I had them shipped to my son's place in PA, so I have not seen them yet. Will be visiting Thanksgiving and hoping to get out for a round.

Each one complements the two sets I gave my son a few years ago, MacGregor Golden Bear 086 and Wilson Sam Sneads.

 

Now we will have forged putters to go with the forged irons.

Just picked up a Nike Method Origin B1-01 Counterflex (nike.com looks to be clearing golf equip stock)

 

Never anchored nor tried counter-flex putting, but figure this was a worthy "experiment." So far, the adjustable Nike counterflex shaft design IMO is ingenious.

the mark on the topline in the photo is sharpy job, lol. original grip and shaft.

 

looks like 1st gen, typical dalehead newport 320g-ish.

pro'ly gonna get a light refinish + regrip done and play the hell out of it w some lead tape. :)

I bought one like that last month (my first ever Scotty), with the same patina and everything. The ball feels absolutely beautiful coming off the face, and I love the lack of a topline (sorry, mine didn't have any Sharpie "art" :taunt: ).

Hope you hole some putts with it!
