I put the first bid on this on ebay a few weeks ago. First bid never wins, right? I guess sometimes it does. I forgot about it and a couple days ago i got notification i won. It got here today.

Workbench Swan neck from Edel golf

Bettinardi Dass 3.0 Tour Proto MiNOVAi mallet. It's a Rainbow Torched, Plumber/Spud Neck, Full Offset, 358g. Milled Blade with Fangs.

 

A good friend of mine brought one to the putting green yesterday. I dropped a sleeve of balls on the green and addressed one on a straight 4-footer. Before I struck the putt I was in love with this thing. It was the easiest conversion to a new putter I've ever encountered in almost 35 years in golf. When I struck the putt, there was a pure sound to the strike. It forced me to look for a non-existent sound slot.

 

While he (my friend) was inside, entertaining a client, I used it to run 30/30 6 footers. I then moved back to 10 ft. and ran 19/20. I then moved back to 30 footers and while I only made 4/20, all misses were within the magic 3 ft. range I'm after. I then started putting to every corner and cup on the green and only 3 were outside the magic circle with the longest being 6 ft. short on the low side.

 

So when the meeting was over, I simply asked him what he needed for me to buy it from him. Even though he hadn't even hit it yet on a real green and couldn't part with it, he let me take it home with me for further evaluation. What a lad!!!

 

With the immediate presentation and fit, killer looks and (more importantly) the performance, I know I have a winner. In the past 20 years, I bagged 4 putters. While I love the way my 009 has treated me over the past nine years, this Minovai is gonna get a shot. He ain't getting it back. In fact, I told him to call Jimmy Cigars and order him another one.

Just drank the cool aid and was able to get a Evnroll Er7...They will not be in the stores until MARCH, but I called and they had one available and set it up to my specs....

Was at Dicks today picking up my $2.97 clearance Winn grips and wandered over to the putters. They had 3 lefty putters in the entire store, one being an Acuity DN2 milled. Didn't feel terrible on the putting green. Price part of the tag was gone, so I asked the worker to scan it. He said it will be about $16. Took it up to the register and it rings up $7. Add on the Winn grip and I got a milled putter for just over $10.

Bought a golo5. Have been happy with my newport2 but wanted to try a mallet. Did a fitting and become immediate friends with his one. The alu face feels butterly soft and the big mallet is quite forgiving. Something a didn't had with my Newport.

Just put an Apollo black stepless putter shaft in this one, Lamkin Deep Etched, and some custom paint fill.....feels new :)

Buying this same one off a buddy of mine who can't roll a flow neck. I've been using it the last couple rounds and I am loving it!!! The gun blue looks great in the sun and the feel off the face of this putter is perfect to me. Enjoy it!!
