Raw Talent emerging..... bought a 56 and 58 RAW 200 series Vokey.

Arrived wednesday 7am Full Rust !! Started sanding, again at 6pm.

Friday nite another half hour. Today Sat morning another half hour.

Then i got the Autosol out to see what happens.... shinier than anticipated !!

Have sharpened and cleaned grooves, have DGS 400 to install !!

 

These are bent to 55/11 and 59/09 so should match my year 2000 Hogan Apex Plus irons well !!!

This is going to be quick. I just bought these because I couldn't pass them up given their condition. I've finally got too many sets of Wilson Staff irons and these will be going on BST as soon as I get the chance, especially since I've supposedly found the holy grail FG59's that I'll be playing as soon as they return from the refinisher. These are in unbelievable condition with only small dings on two clubs and a little wear to the wedge (photo'd below). Other than those very minor issues, a complete time capsule find. No rust, nothing....beautiful stuff. I'm adding these to my 59's, 17's, '88 Fluid Feels, and '71 Haig Ultras. I'm getting a little old and tired and it's maybe too much work to do these justice anymore. Great looking clubs. I have a set in a wooden glass case that have never been hit.

Also have the Driver 3,4,5 woods in a case to match. 1971

Thanks, same to you Sir!! They’re 712 CB’s, they are my baby’s!! I flirt with other irons but I always come back to them lol. Though after hitting the AP2’s today, they may have met their match. Only time will tell :)
