Picked up a DF3 from the Lab Golf Outlet that was almost my exact spec. Was between a CB and standard model but this was 99% of what I wanted in standard model, the only thing I would possibly change was standard-> heavier head but that was a toss up either way

Yeah. Need to get another session in with it. I was wiped out when I swung it, but the sound and feel is much better than my G430 10k was.

Too funny because I picked up the Rogue ST Max LS to move away from my Ping G425 LST.  Very good, forgiving driver but man the sound isn't pleasant.  The sound/feel on the Callaway is so much better and I love the matte black crown.

This started off as a $5 garage sale purchase for the white wood dresser, from a neighbor two houses down.  Added a larger wooden top I had sitting in the garage for five years, plus some 12"X12" carpet tiles I had leftover from building my main work bench.  Fabbed up a few more things like the shaft support, and the place to put heads.

 

The idea is I'll use the main bench for all the prep stuff, then have this smaller "clean area" bench for staging during final build.  Someplace that can stay nice and clean and has room for multiple irons builds to keep tidy.

 

Which is good timing, as I have two sets of Bridgestone irons coming in, a short set of Adams CMB heads, and a few demo 6 and 7 irons to get me started on building more short sets.

Winging their way to me from Japan, be here Friday.  Epon AF-302 Iron set 5-PW with GD Tour AD-95 in stiff with barely any scuffing on the soles. Faces are fresh and clean.

 

Ordered last Saturday, seller dragged his feet shipping.  I was hoping to have them by Monday for a golf trip to northern Michigan.

 

Added a couple Fourteen DJ-5 wedges in 50 & 54 that were here in three days.  Played them yesterday and OMG.  They’re built for me.  lol
