I’ve been looking around the Spalding market as I’ve been posting, and today I pulled the trigger! I’m not going to be able to see these guys until I’m back in the US (months) but here are some pics from the ebay ad. Robert T. Jones Registered Stainless, but I do not have a year or any other information about them. I imagine they were store-line but have no way to know. I was just smitten by their condition (one grip still had a painted label) $25 +shipping, I’m excited to break these out with the woods!

Those should go well with your woods. Nice find.

Not an entirely new acquisition, I've had them for awhile. Really grown fond of the 80's Cleveland persimmon woods. Only have these, but always on the lookout for additions. Classic shapes that pay homage to the classic Mac's preceding them. Reluctant to take these afield out of fear of mucking them up. Why I have my beaters. Maybe this year they'll see time in the classic bag.

Edit add: This was an informative thread on Clevelands. Plus lots of eye candy.

Is that first pic on the left a TC 15?? Looks exactly Deejaid's from a few posts above - all nice looking sticks.

You should play them more - they can all be refinished. Refinished mine every year when I played them when I was much younger.

Yes, TC15. The fairways are RC75's. They've had a nice refinish done at some point. Found them at an estate sale about a year ago.

Yeah, probably should play them at least once. Maybe.

I once received a very, very nice (read: expensive) bottle of wine. Now, I'm not a big wine drinker, so I thought that I would keep it - you know, for that "special occasion"

When the time came to open that bottle and celebrate bigly.....the wine had turned, and the entire mood was gone.

Use them bad boys!!! That is what they were made for!!!!

BTW - how's the snow situation in your neck of the woods???

Don't know if you remember, since you weren't here, but last year, around this time, we got a fair amount of snow. This year (so far) only cold, with this coming weekend weather to be the coldest stretch so for this year (overnight lows into the low 20's for 2-3 consecutive nights)

Winter has been quite easy so far. Very little snow, haven't had to use the snowblower once. Seasonal temps. Although a snow event is forecasted for tomorrow. Weather service can't decide if we're going to get significant accumulations or next to nothing. Whatever. It's winter, it's Michigan. No big deal.

I'l continue to take your advisement under consideration. Maybe take the Clevelands to the newly opened Top Golf facility nearby (as another posted about). Show them off. Hit the beater.

Fella, those are gorgeous Clevelands. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to keep them nice. I do the same thing. On the other hand, I agree with Augie too. You gotta at least take a few whacks with them just to appreciate them even more. Greyhounds are bred to run!!!

I would say it's definitely not something Dave Wood did. Looks to me as a knock off of Wood Brothers Texan but with an All-American sole plate. Not sure what Richmark is, probably the brand. Any wood Dave Wood did would have some marking (stamping, etched signature, sole plate) stating it was Wood Brothers or Dave Wood. That said it is a nice looking wood.

Not from Dave Wood.

There are several knock off makers.

I’ve seen USA map and California map models from other makers.

Dave Wood produced Texas, USA, Spain, Japan , and Australia sole plates. I’ve heard rumors of a Louisiana map sole plate for Hal Dutton, but have never seen/verified that one.

Can anyone identify this driver?

It looks a lot like one of the Richard O'hara woods. American Classic? But the only two I have seen photos of had something like "Richard Ohara Woods" or something like that stamped on the bottom near the heel, where the "Richmark" is on the one you posted, and also "American Classic" or something like that on the USA soleplate.

I have read on this forum that Dave Woods sued O'hara for copyright infringement, so perhaps the "Richmark" and "American Tourney Pro" (or is it "American Journey Pro" because that would be funny) are his attempts to blur the lines a bit more?

The grain and workmanship look fantastic, anyway.

Edit: finally managed to find a picture of a Richard O'hara soleplate (it was on GolfWRX...go figure!): the USA soleplate is quite different, so I don't think that's what you've got:
