I tried this driver the other day as well. definitely draw biased, very high ball flight, but pretty consistent results and forgiving. I did not care for how it looks, and have no interest in buying one, but it did perform surprisingly well. This could be a really good driver for a high handicapper, a golfer who needs draw bias, or someone who likes lighter drivers.

Right now I have it built at 45.25" with a 76g shaft and it's D3 and that's with the 5g weight in the back. Now with the stock recoil shaft at 44.5 it was at C6 haha. Felt like a tooth pick.

Got this out today for a little against the M2 but it was member appreciation day or something so guests were free and the course was crowded. From what I saw ball flight was higher in the Fusion, spin a smidge higher in Fusion, and sound and feel was NOTICEABLY better in the Fusion. Even with the M2 being hotmelted it wasn't even close. And I haven't added a drop of melt to the fusion head yet as I wanted to see flight first.

The feel and sound were also stand-out positive attributes for me. Hoping to take it out for 18 tomorrow.

Wow on the sound/feel. Impressive. The retail M2's feel good enough let alone hotmelted and the stock Fusion feels that good. Nice. I'm a right to left guy...I'm assuming these are draw biased but I guess I could crank loft down...

Thanks for info.

Sound and feel isn't close. Fusion is much better acoustically and I'm not saying the M2 is bad it's just not as muted. The real test for acoustics is on my clubs range where the rock range balls weed out the truly muted heads from the sirens.

Plan moving forward : I want to get out to practice one more time before I adjust anything. I want to play with the settings a bit to make sure I know what I want to do to the head. M2 is no punk so I have to dial this Fusion in so it's apples to apples.

Guess who's back......

FYI This new Golf Pride Grip is stellar. Fits so well in the hand and is somehow really soft. I highly recommend giving it a try if you are searching for a putter grip.

The WHP #7 has reclaimed it's seat at the head of the table. All is right in the world. :D

Can we get some pics of the built Fusion

Sure thing

Illegal pin?

Just saying but I made that putt for eagle today ;) This green sits on a hill so if you notice the pin is extended so you can see the flag stick from the fairway. This angle makes it look closer then it actually is to the fringe plus the longer then normal flag pole.

Damn! That pin is really close to the edge. Wouldn't want to get short sided on that one...

I'm looking for a grip for my #7, which is a tour model very similar to the Stenson model, and I'm going to try one of the new blue Golf Prides. It is tought to beat a #7.

This pin in in the back of a green and the area is like 8x8 of flat. If your long your dead with this pin, if your short or spin it to much it will spin down a ridge and you'll have a 40ft putt. Really tough but as I said above this was a 5 iron into the green and I drained the putt for eagle. It was a better shot into that pin then I usually hit that's for sure lol

The shape reminds me of the Burner Superfast 2.0. Interested to hear how they compare.

It's kinda simliar but this is a much more pleasing shape then the SF 2.0 as it's not as smooshed down if that makes sense.

Thanks for the photo. I have yet to see the Fusion in the flesh but this looks promising. I am guessing it sits pretty neutral - can't stand a closed face on the driver

In the neutral setting it looks a smidge closed and I'm not sure if that's because of the shape of the head or it actually sits a bit closed. I opened mine up to -1 and it's pretty neutral. Callaway did comment that in the N/S setting it's neutral so take that for what it's worth.

Yes I have and I like them a lot actually. Great feel and sound to them I'm hoping to try a #7.

So as for the Fusion I'm still testing it agains the M2. Both are really good with the Fusion allowing me to play a nice draw again which I REALLY like. To be honest I didn't think the Fusion was going to make it past a few balls on the LM but it's producing. A few more rounds and practice session and I'll know if it's staying or going

The online reviews of the Fusion are very interesting with a range of views in relation to spin/launch, all of which makes me think that this is a driver thar really does need to be well fit. The biggest theme in the reviews however is that this is extremely forgiving and has amazing feel/sound. Any thoughts on the forgiveness?

Driver Ho!

This one surprises me.

If the Fusion wins, mean it is better than SZ too, damn.

I have a "what I hope to be" cool redo in progress on a #7 putter from Continental, something a bit different on a model with no sight lines on the fangs.

Fusion doesn't look to bad actually! This driver has my interest.

I just got one of those Blue SNSR grips too in 104cc. I agree, it feels great in the hands, super soft. Glad I bought one, I almost got another SS.

Blue SNSR grip is LEGIT. I was playing the SS Pistol GT and was about to try another SS as well. Glad I took a chance at something different.

Which is why YouTube reviews are not reliable. I honestly didn't think much about the Fusion until I hit it on the LM. I was extremely surprised at 3 things

1. Distance

2. Feel/Sound

3. Spin being in a playable range for

Think Ping G type forgiveness without the somewhat hollow feel of the Ping. The Fusion has a much more pleasant feel and sound.
