It's a well known fact that any iron over 14 month old is designed to degrade rapidly and become obsolete. Planned obsolescence by the OEM's. If you use them over 24 months they will melt like a Mission Impossible tape recorder.

I play my s55's a half inch short of standard with C-Taper Lite and lead taped up to D6 swing weight and they are hands down the best irons I have played. Love the look of the iBlades but not enough to justify a change. The s55's are just sneaky forgiving for a players iron in my opinion.

Very happy with my MuLTIPLE sets of MP 14's. Have 33's and 29's also. For me its 14's hands down. Best club head ever made by Mizzy.

I miss my 29's. Shouldn't have gave them away

Also love the 681T, and my current gamer Razr MB. H Stamped version of the Razr was a good replacement for the 681T

Still playing SLDR irons with the stock C-Taper 90 shafts - the Ho in me keeps checking out new stuff, but nothing even looks good to me after playing these.

The SLDR Irons deserve your love!... These irons perform just as good as they look!... :good:

You may find Mark Crossfield's Review interesting...Click here to view...

Very much a 'tweener' iron, (i.e. A GI iron's forgiveness with a Better Player's iron look). Smaller heads than you might think with a thinner top line than the typical GI Iron. Note the clubhead size comparison with the Tour Preferred MC iron which is shown in the pic below...

I happen to prefer the slightly heavier and lower spinning C-Taper Lite shaft, (110-grams in S-Flex), over the proprietary TM/KBS C-Taper 90 shaft, but shaft choice is always just a matter of personal preference!..

I play mine at +3/4" .. the 1150's are soft stepped 1 X. Nippon feel hard to leave once you get used to it

J15 MB's and Cally Protos could not displace them

Actually like the J15's but hate the soft stepped satin px 6.5's in them . .still hurt my hands even on pure strikers

I have 3 sets currently all over a year old. My current gamers are Scratch EZ-1. Backups are Mizuno JPX 850 and Ping S55. All 3 are sweet irons and could easily make it in the bag as not 1 set really blows away the other 2.

I feel the same with C-Tapers, I will game C-Taper Lite 115 or C-Taper 125 in every iron set I own. I like the feel so much that(other than in my wedges)I dont think I will ever switch. Just incredibly stable but still feel incredibly smooth.
