Still play bridgestone j36 pocket cavities. Love them to death. Will be reshafting soon. I used the the stock px 6.0 but there's some pitting on the shafts. And I found a new set of dg pros for cheap to put in till I can afford a new set.

I only carry only six irons in my bag, and remain delighted with this UDI + SLDR Iron combo set...(Note the consistent 4* loft gaps this setup provides!)

Β

#1 UDI ----- 16* Tour Preferred UDI - The Ultimate Driving Iron(s)

#3 UDI ----- 20*

Β

Β

Β

#5 SLDR Iron -- 24* -- These SLDR irons play just as good as they look!..(Distance irons)

#6 SLDR iron -- 28* -- These SLDR irons just may be the best 'tweener' irons ever made!

#7 SLDR Iron -- 32*

#8 SLDR Iron -- 36*

Β

I use KBS C-Taper Lite 110 Shafts in both of my UDI's, and throughout my (5-8) SLDR Iron set!

Β

So where is the 9-iron in this set you ask? Well, my 42* Niblick Pitching Wedge is actually a 'double duty club'...With just 42* of loft, it's also a strong, accurate 9-iron, and perhaps the most versatile club ever!

Β

Being a Niblick, it's obviously fantastic for chipping).

Β

I could not be more pleased, and can't even imagine a better iron set than this (very unique) one for my game!

I’m learning the hard way that just because equipment is newer doesn’t make it better performing for my game. I do like to ho so I’m occasionally prone to a new or new to me equipment purchase. This season though has been particularly revealing about the perceived advantage of newer clubs not always playing out on the course.

Β

I’ve recently experimented with putting my 14 year old Snake Eyes irons back in the bag. I forgot just how much I loved the feel and performance of them. Also even with traditional lofts, I’m not seeing much if any distance loss vs my Hot Metals. This could be a season long experiment.

Still enjoying my 2013 X-forged irons.

And obviously Alex Cjeka still likes his look at the recent WRX Staff postings from the Colonial--- Even though he is a TM staffer now he still has those 2013 X Forged in the bag. I have a set too same shafts as yours. I do not play them all the time but they are not going anywhere. In fact they are the newest date wise irons I own. I switch around quite a bit amongst all my sets of classic blades. Even though I am a dyed in the wool old school classic blade man as far as CB irons I think the 2013 X are destined to be a big of a classic as the Eye2s in the future
