My i200s are nearly a year old now and no plans to change. Tbh, irons are the last thing I look at changing tbh. Drivers are always the "sexiest" change for me I guess but again, no real plans to change.

 

The only thing to catch my glance has been the Srixon 7/9 series combo but tbh, that's mainly because I don't know anyone who plays them and it would just be for the sake of being different...

Depends on the “ year.” I prefer 1971, Wilson Staff Buttonbacks, 1-9 iron, with a ‘69 bulletback pw, and ‘74 dynapower sw.

My 716CB irons won't go out of the bag for any reason - every club, from my 3 iron to my PW, looks ideal to me and gives me a wonderful flight.

I use 714 AP2s, there's no need to change them. I have a friend who uses 15 to 20 different sets of irons most years. Buys and sells on emay. He's reduced his handicap from 1 to...well.....1

Actually very smart to buy clubs that are a year to 2 years old. The technology has changed much (if at all) and the clubs are still very useable, also will save you a ton of money. Remember that there is only so much that can change because of limitations put on technology by the usga. Can't exceed .830, and grooves have to conform.

I played jpx 900hm for most of the year and switched back to my tourstage x blades after seeing no major improvements in my game. The x blades are also so much nicer to look down at

My buddy still games his Taylormade Speedblades did a full fitting few months back with Taylormade nothing bet out his old speedblades he did like the P790 but per him they weren't much better other than feel.

I posted originally in this thread in May of '15 about my JPX 800's. I got fitted that same year in December and went with the Ping i E1 irons. I'm still playing them and don't have a reason to change. Since getting them my career low round has gone from 83 to 78 and I have shot that number 3 times. Yes, getting fit was probably the key but they are some forgiving irons with good distance. I guess I have been getting a little soft lately though. This week I ordered a G400 Max to try against my 913 D3.

Same here. Ordered them brand new when they first come out. I had a fling with some Mizuno JPZ EZ Forged for about 8 months, but went back to the G25s.

 

Play a lot of golf with WRXer Sam-Tee-Time. We've probably played 300 rounds together since 2006...and he's using the same aTourstage Z101 irons he had when we met.
