2017 Subaru WRX STI,

I've always wanted one and was able to pull trigger last year. It's a lot of fun to drive, safe, holds resale value well, cheaper insurance (it's a 4 door sedan after all), AWD to get up to the mountains and for those rare snowdays, and really practical - I can fit 4 sets of clubs in the trunk and was even able to get a 60 inch tv in there with the back seats down.

Sweet ride man!

I came very close to buying a WRX this go-round. I really wanted to talk myself into it. But in the end i went with a chick-car CUV because my wife loved it. I am not a man

Told the GF our NEXT car would be a compact/smaller SUV so that helped with the STI. Although I think I've sold her on an Audi SQ5 as that next vehicle - throw on a Milltek or AWE Exhaust on there and I'll be okay driving it around when needed!

Posted in this thread a while back.......time for update.

Car #1: 2013 Lincoln MKS Ecoboost w/ Livernois :D

Car #2: 2010 Volvo XC70 T6

Three turbos in the household! :busted_cop: :busted_cop: Love both cars -- the Volvo gets fuel mileage akin to an SUV, but it drives much better than any SUV or CUV I've sampled. The T6 motor is a gem, and the cargo capacity is tremendous! Lincoln is a total sleeper. Some software upgrades have made it properly quick!

Signature on clubs is reasonably accurate, I do go back and forth between a set of Ping BeCu ISI irons and a slightly more modern set of Ping G10s, really dependent on nothing but my mood.

Adaptive Golf.....look out for the one-armed man:

Just updated my ride from a 2005 Toyota 4Runner to a 2017 GMC Canyon All Terrain edition. I'll get some pics up this afternoon. It was a perfect combo of size and capability for me as a daily driver. We have a Tahoe for a family vehicle so I decided to keep the truck small so it's easier to park and maneuver.

The STI is my dream car, so I'm jealous. I'm a Subaru Ambassador too. If you want any Subaru stuff lemme know.

How perfect that looks in pearl white. What name does Subaru call that color?

Love the rims too, and the raised white letters. Bad azz ride sir. Congrats

Titleist 910 D3 driver (to be replaced with a G30 when I get home)

Callaway BB 3 wood

Old Adams A7 PNT 2 hybrid or Titleist DCI 2i (depending on the mood)

Callaway 07 X Forged (to be replaced with Callaway X Prototype when I get home)

Callaway forged copper wedges

Yes Sophia putter

New driver is in my trunk (bought it right before I left and haven't hit it yet) and the irons are in a box at my apartment (just arrived today).

2015 Mustang GT Deep Impact Blue

This is my 4th mustang GT (hence the screen name), and my 13th Ford (8 F150s, 4 mustangs and a ranger). Only had one vehicle that wasn't a mustang, and it was a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track. Fun little car, but due to the terrible roads around Houston and the stiff suspension, I only owned it for 5 months. Plus, if you cant tell, I'm a bit of a Ford guy. I love American Muscle cars, and while the GenCoupe was fun, and handled like a go-kart, it had no real balls.

That didn't last long (clubs or car, lol).

915 D2

915 3 wood

Same A7 hybrid

Added an A7 4 hybrid

Back to my Ping I20 irons 5-PW

Vokey SM5 52 and 56 wedges

Same Yes putter

When my dad passed, I inherited his '00 f150. He was the original owner, bought in 9/99 (still had the original paperwork from purchase in the glove box). It had 85k miles on it. Unfortunately, it needed some work. He was a heavy smoker, so I pulled the seats and console, replaced the carpet, scrubbed every bit of the interior, replaced all of the stained and broken bits I could. The tail lights were cracked and the head lights were so yellow they were useless. I replaced those too, replaced the suspension, replaced the stereo with a touch screen nav unit, new speakers and sub, bought new rims and tires, new front and rear bumpers, then had the whole truck and bed cover painted silver. It was pretty much like new at that point. Then little things started going wrong with the engine. Nothing expensive, just a lot of little things I was chasing. Spent about $8k on it fixing it up, and 8 months later traded it and the mustang on a 2014 F150 Tremor.

Tremor

The tremor was a limited production (I think there was only 600 made, and it was only one year). It was a regular cab parts bin truck, basically a fully loaded FX2/FX4 appearance package truck with the Ecoboost and a 4.10 rear gear. Fun truck, but not practical at all. I got it in february this year, and 5 months later, I traded it in on a 2017 Ram 1500 Lone Star crew cab. Realized that with a new wife and step kid, we needed a truck with a back seat.

I've owned more Ford trucks that I care to admit, and have never considered any other make. Always just had good luck with them and loved the styling. This time I went in open minded and drove a new f150 and a GMC Sierra. I tried to buy the gmc (I like the looks of them best of the 3), but they weren't willing to work with me on trade or new truck price. On a whim I went to the dodge dealer and as soon as I drove it, I knew I was buying it. It's more comfortable, feels more spacious inside, rides better than any truck I've ever been in, and the options available for the price are unbeatable. It has every option available except sunroof, leather and HID headlights, and it was the same price as a base model XL F150 and a Elevation package Sierra (stripped truck with a few options and black wheels). They made a believer out of me with this one. Exterior styling isn't my favorite, but ride quality and comfort trumps that for me.
