Lamb kind of reminds me of Bettinardi but a lot better. Definitely some cues from Scotty's "artsy" designs and Machine putters.. but quality looks very high. Love the donuts concept.. very cool! Hope to see more and more of these things surface.

I like quality and uniqueness. To me, those ball markers and headcovers have both.

well, I got a marker and a headcover on Monday -- and haven't heard anything but crickets in regards to when they're expected to ship. I sent him an email...and a message via IG and no responses to either.

 

so far as a customer I don't exactly have a good taste in my mouth. simple ordering/shipping is a BASIC customer service...which he doesn't seem to get. while some are praisin this guy, if he can't get the small stuff right, I wouldn't want to work with him on the expensive stuff.

honestly -- doesn't matter WHO it is...if you can't turn around your product from sale to ship in less than 2 days...there's something wrong with your business. pardon the pun but, he's not making the donuts to order...

I thought I might get that response and I agree with you but I don't see anyone calling themselves "potty dameron", "majosi", "white lab" or "pingston"

 

I just find the name too close to "mannkrafted"

 

Tyson lambs putters are amazing in their own right, he doesn't need to copy someone's name so closely...

 

With respect to designs of putter heads I think/know it is inevitable that there will be undeniable similarities, there is a difference between this and "rip off's" of other people's ideas though IMO

I have thought from day one that his business model is eerily similar to Cameron...from a marketing standpoint to the way his pictures look. I'm sure the fact that Jim Butler being his main distributor is contributing to that but one of his most recent posts on IG is reminiscent of the "Since/Est. In 62" Cameron was pushing a few years back.

 

 

Stating "Established in 1988" gives people the impression the business has been operating for almost 30 years. Your birth date isn't your company's established date.

 

He has some really slick skills and his finish work is great. I just wish he differentiated himself from Cameron a little more.

My buddy has one of his putters and is trying to get me to buy it.

I rolled it a few times and i like it but i didn't think it was anything special.

He also has a pitch tool and those things are really nice, they have a nice weight to them.

I also played trinity forest in Dallas and Tyson made the back tee yardage makers there as well SMU pony's to designate where the team tees off.

Does he make anything other than Anser style putters? His work looks nice, I've sent a couple inquiries without any reply. Pretty much lost interest especially with my past experience with Tyson on some belt buckles.

I believe he does but haven't seen any on IG. I thought he made a small mallet style putter. I remember seeing a junior golfer playing with that style putter from Tyson.
