Anybody else having issues w orders being completed? Placed about 5 hours ago and reached order confirmation (with order #) page but no email. Now cust service is saying that since I purchased in April I can't purchase now..

Don't remember if this was the case with the pre-Masters release, but looks like they had to remove 'Professional Quality Ball Performance' from the box. Inb4 rampant conspiracy theories about it being a new ball lol.

To be sure there is a Pro somewhere that is playing a box or who has played a Kirkland ball. You dont have to be on the Golf Channel to be a Pro. The analogy is like saying a Hairdryer cannot claim to be Professional Quality just because its not used by "Professional Hairdressers" at the mall.

^^^^^^^^^^^ mainly online I believe. Every Costco I’ve called in the middle of California has said they do not have any instore and they have not received any. I played the K3 and it is a very soft ball. It was too soft for me. I felt like I was hitting a marshmallow. I ordered the k4 hopefully this compare to the tp5x or Pro V1x. If not 45$ a box it is.

I definitely think you will find that the Ksig4 is a harder ball and as a matter of fact I only play it in the warmer months because of it. Im excited to try the 3 piece ball next fall/winter

During the past few releases, the only stores that have carried the balls have been Grand Opening stores. So, unless you have a brand new Costco warehouse opening near you, Online is the only real option.

I later spoke to a Cust Servive Supervisor yesterday (who was incredibly helpful) and based on his comments I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we see of the 4pc in it's current iteration. He spoke of the "buying team" and that this item was "end of life". To be clear, I have no agenda in making these comments and sure hope this isn't the last we see of this ball. Just relaying comments that seemed to hint this may be it.

 

One thing for sure, something goofy is going on with this "release". Almost like they found a batch of balls somewhere or decided to clear physical inventory that was sitting in a random store.

Personal opinion with ZERO to back it up. This scenario has happened since the second run of the original KSigs. I think it speaks to the "real-time" inventory management system at Costco. Round 1 they took orders when there wasn't stock and had some unhappy campers. There was also no limit to the volume you could order then. Think they got a bit smarter and put a governor on the number you could order and also the total stock available. After they were confident that all orders were filled, they put the remaining supply out there.

i wouldn't mind if it was the end. i have 6 dozen unopened boxes that i am not going to play unless i need to. the end means the price goes up, and it would be worth me actually putting some effort to sell them. otherwise, they may just end up in a shag bag as practice balls.

Played today and interchanged the K3 and Chromesoft every hole. It is difficult to tell a difference between the balls...very similar.

It's been a while since I played the Chrome Soft but I'd tend to agree. Even the 4-piece K-Sig performs pretty similar to the Chrome Soft except for the loud BANG it makes off my driver and the unpleasant crack it makes when hit with a long or middle iron. But ball flight, distance and spin are about like Chrome Soft, at least my memory of the year and a half I played it.

For the K3 it seems to be a per order basis. I've placed two orders but they were a couple weeks apart. Had no issues with the second order. Not sure how long you have to wait in between orders.

When the balls were sold in early April this year, I successfully placed (and received) a second order of 2 dozen of each ball after I received the shipments from the first orders.

 

I hadn't seen that the 3 piece existed before ordering the 4 piece. So, I ordered them individually the first time (2 orders of 2 dozen) and then placed an order for both (2 dozen of each). I believe that others successfully placed a second order after receiving confirmation that the previous order shipped.

And I thought I had a problem...Your hoard of balls makes my paltry two dozen Ksigs & partial dozens of Chrome softs,TM & various others look completely sane. Now...Get out there and spray those for others to find pronto!
