you guys enjoy your 3 piece ksig, plenty to be had on Costco site...hmmm wonder why? dont hate those who dont like the 3 piece

guys enjoy the prov1 and there's plenty to be had...hmmm...wonder why? they must suck, i guess?

I ahve said this before on here...."why do you care"? i can play any ball I want, enjoy your 3 piece ksig...i dont wanta play it my gosh...you homers out here take offense cuz i dont like the ksig 3...get over it

Seriously.

Imagine if I go into a forum about the Callaway Steelhead irons (I don't play them. Know nothing about them..and blurt out something like this:

"Uh, yeah, you guys enjoy your steelhead irons. Don't hate those who dont like them."

I cannot even imagine any reason for doing this...Unless motivated.

Do you do this in other forums?

The irony here is the MTB black is a 3 piece ball as well that feels almost identical to the K3.

I do personally like the black better myself but they are very close

Sim stats I got tonight. 100 and 45ish yards with ProV1, Prior gen chromesoft, and K3.

I think the K3 does just fine 100yds and in.

what club were you hitting?

My golf buddy hit the shots, he is a much better golfer than me so the shots were more consistent. 52 wedge for 100 and 60 for the 45ish shots.

Used to think maybe guys were being to hard on you, but when you popped back in with the intent of antagonizing, it was clear you wanted to keep the thread alive. Your bizarre activity representing the anti-Kirkland perspective is absolutely perfect for this and I think it's awesome you, represent the opposing view point. You will help keep attention on the kirkland balls and the outstanding value proposition that they are. More please! See if you can talk that pro into coming back here and periodically blurting out that he cant stop a Ksig4 with the full gap. That was pure gold.

Looking forward to your continued trolls,.and congrats again for keeping this fascinating thread interesting.

I got a chance to play the K3 today and I have to say I'm having a hard time differentiating it with the Chrome soft that I've been playing for the past few years. They feel almost identical and the durability is fantastic. I tested half wedge shots on my skytrak as well and the spin between them was consistently within a couple hundred rpm. Bottom line, these are a great deal and with 2 dozen will go a long way.

That's the ball I would say feels the most comparable to the K Sig 3 piece. An amazing value for sure!

I agree it plays a lot like the Chrome soft. Just a bit harsher off the face of the putter but I can deal with it.

Yeah I didn't notice that off the putter but I have a milled face putter which makes everything feel a touch softer to me.

I've seen k3 being compared to CS as well as AVX. Has anyone tried both and feel like AVX flies like CS?

I need bit info before gifting my K3 tk a friend who's a Avx fanatic.

AVX is lower spin and lower trajectory than Chrome Soft or K-3. Very definitely less spin than either.

I can only base my opinion on an AVX that I found, and tried for a few holes. It was a little scuffed up, so it wasn't in the best shape. Distance off the driver was really good, about the same as the KSig 4 I was playing the round with. Didn't bite and come back like the Ksig4 or ProV1, but didn't roll out much, kind of hopped and stopped like the KSig 3 does for me. Trajectory was a wee bit lower than the Ksig 4, but not a lot. Overall, pretty good ball, prefer the Pro V1 if I had to choose, but to me, not worth what they're charging for sure.

i don't care either way, that's why i don't come in here and talk crap for no reason. i was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your statement.

I love the way he disappears for awhile, then rears his weird head and says dumb stuff like "I don't like it!" for vague reasons and won't even answer if he's even tried the ball. Very entertaining troll.

AVX certainly doesn't bite hard and dig in or spin back (unless maybe if you have stupendous clubhead speed) but it is very controllable. It’s not going to run away when it lands like a Velocity or e6 or Superhot, it is still in the same general category with K-Sig, etc.

Very Tsecor/Cloverheadish! Remember the troll who had 2 accounts so he could talk negative to himself about the K-Sig until he got banned. Funny thing is, based on his other posts, Monks is also a Wilson Duo fanboy like that banned troll and has very similar comebacks. Maybe he had 3 accounts, who knows...

Strike up a Eagle from the FW bunker for a KSig 4 last Friday and it was actually one I found rather than from my own private stock. I have recently been gifted some Chrome Soft Graphines to try and have found a few ProVs in the wild that I was gaming prior to putting the lost Ksig into play. I must say...In 85+ degree temps here in the SE it (Ksig) felt much better off the face to me and it was L O N G off the tee...Not really a fan of the Ksig in cool or cold weather.

I think Ill dip into my stash of Ksig 4's for the next few rounds and eventually try the Ksig 3 once they dwindle down.

We had 80 degree temps in Chicago yesterday which is the high mark of the year. Played the KTrey for the round and it was a different experience. I'm not GolfWRX long but had several occasions where shots went 10-25 yards longer than a K4. One the first hole had 185 to the pin but wanted to be below the hole. The 6h is normally a 180-185 club and after hitting the shot I thought it was going to be perfect. Instead of being on the front, it ended up on the very back edge of the green leaving a 65 foot putt. Not the start to the round I was hoping for. A 9 is normally a 140 club and on the second hole that's what I had to the center. Flew that green, too. Won't bore you with the details but there were several other holes with the same results. And I wouldn't say I was hitting the ball well at all.

Still think the ball is super short game wise and most shots are stopping within a yard of where the ball lands. Need to play it side by side with a KSig in the same warm temps to see if there's a difference distance wise.

Picked up 4 dozen of the 4 piece Ksigs... played a couple of rounds with them, 9 holes with the Ksig and 9 holes with a ProV. I'm sticking with the ProV1's... the Ksig was really hot off the putter face and felt heavy on the irons. Its a feel thing and the ball just felt heavy coming off the face.
