Am I crazy or is the green on the bottom of the driver completely different than the green used on the head cover? Like many the extended wait is causing me to nit pick at something we are foaming at the mouth to get our hands on, or at the very least see some legit details with specs/photos.

 

While the bottom of a driver nor a head cover would deter me from purchasing a superior preforming product (if that turns out to be the case) it just looks cheap and cheesey to me if those greens really are that far off in person. To quote the great Rasheed Wallace "The ball don't lie", if the numbers are there the head cover could be pink and the bottom of the driver could be tie-dye for all I care.

Tour Issue M2 (average numbers)

Swing speed - 95.2

Ballspeed - 141.7

Launch - 13.7

Spin - 2291

 

Epic GBB (average numbers)

Swing speed - 96.1

Ballspeed - 145.5

Launch - 14.0

Spin - 2348

 

I didn't pay as much attention to total distance numbers but I was carrying the Epic about 10-12y further on average.

ball speed X 2.04 - 65.2 is a pretty good formula for distance. For the poor man out there not able to get on monitors. Or SS X 3.16 - 85.2 = Distance. Pretty close estimate w quick math.

I won't be using the headcover regardless, could care less if they match. Still may do a Udesign all black or even a different color to make it pop instead of the green!!!

The more I see the "greenery" green the more I like it. Kinda like the two-tone M's or the all white drivers. If they perform for you, you start to appreciate how they look.
