You're to about that. But if those guys were in this field it wouldn't make a difference as to how great Tiger played today. He's going in the right direction, and it's happening much quicker than anyone expected.

Probably stated in here a bunch but Tiger could have had 65 today and been right in the thick of it.

 

So many missed putts. I’m happy to see him up there in the thick of it.

Not sure how it works when you have 8 guys with the same score. To determine the final day pairings do they go by lottery? or first to finish? How does that work?

Is this course the toughest regular stop on the circuit?

 

I saw guys were literally +400 on the bear trap stretch days 1/2.

 

I like seeing the odd “even par is a nice week” tournament.

There are many who expect Tiger to be the Tiger of 10 years ago if he continues on, but I don't think that will ever happen. I think it's more that people just can't let go of the hope that Tiger will be that great again.

Dottie just couldn't help herself....again. Her first line to Tiger after his 69 today was "do you know that it's been 971 days since you've shot in the 60's?". She fumbled over her words leading me to think that she knew she was kneeing him in the nads with that cheap shot. Tiger handled it with class....smiled, and even thanked her when she was done. Can you imagine him even answering that question ten years ago?

Of the top 10 golfers, Justin Thomas is the best based on last yesr’s play. I like Justin.

 

Tommy Fleetwood has had a whole lot of success on the “easier” tour, I would love to see him win or come in second.

 

Alexander Noren has also been playing well.

That "swing" won the toughest tournament in the world.

 

 

Though I don't disagree, his swing is...awkward.

 

 

He's a nice guy though. A real nice guy as far as I can tell. He believes in Christ and I think he carries himself well.

I’m ok with Tiger Haters but it’s not even a fair fight. Look at the galleries when he plays compared to when he doesn’t. Today on the Golf Channel they showed extended coverage because they know the outcry of not showing Tiger while the basketball was concluding. So the haters went from saying he couldn’t make a cut, oops 2/3 cuts made. Than he couldn’t contend, oops, already contending in his third tournament. Now he has no chance in the Masters. Outside of Bubba who’s even shown they can close. Maybe Dustin in Hawaii but he didn’t make it happen at Pebble. Fowler...no, McIiroy...don’t think so, Spieth..maybe if he can start putting and Rahm possibly but he has played bad golf on the weekends since Palm Springs. Day also looks good. JT also seems pretty solid. My point is Tiger can contend at Augusta....and WIN.
