Apparently Phil was complaining about the drive to the course from Buckhaven. He's renting house formerly owned by Gene Frenkle from Blue Oyster Cult. Probably should have stayed closer.

FWIW, I like the BioMech approach. Thinking outside the box with putting.

 

And then there is a whole suite of data analysis they are looking to do. I'd give it a go if it weren't so pricey.

Rock hard, dry, no green grass except on the greens. Guess they don't water their fairways. Any one notice sprinkler heads around the greens or is it all hand watered?

I've noticed sprinkler heads in the fairways and the greens. I think they just wanted to guarantee "firm and fast" conditions.
