I tested these on Friday and posted my Trackman info on this board. 3bb81206aed62142490436e3553dfec4.jpg

What version heads are each of these? The one on the right has a great shape to it.

Ok Titleist, after a nice win at The Bridgestone with the TS3 and with the PGA coming up this week it's perfect timing to release some new deets. Unleash the press release!

The only people who know what driver won this weekend are people on forums like this

Joe Q 100 capper has no idea

TM Sim D-Type Tour AD IZ 7s
Mavrik SZ 16.5 Tour AD DI 7s
Cleveland Hibore Xli 3,4,5

When the 917 was released I was psyched (slightly let down with the D3, but really like F3), but the TS line I was more "meh....", but that pic really sparks my interest more now from the looks. I realize it's crazy to now have more interest from a pic, but it does have a great look in this pic.

I've said it already but why have a release so late in the year? I can only imagine it kills some of the preorders and initial sales for golfers who can't play all year long. I'm sure plenty of golfers think "I'll just wait till spring to buy", but by then other OEM's have then launched their latest and greatest drivers and must steal some sales away from Titleist for guys who waited. I don't know....just seems like a bad time to release clubs (this is all just speculation with 0% knowledge in marketing, or the best quarter to do a club release in).

They have released woods in the fall for as long as I can remember. Now, they are the only one's with something new to sell. A number of people walk into golf stores, ask what's the newest, hottest driver. They go back, hit it 10 times and then go buy it. I wish that wasn't the case, I have seen it.

It's the same with irons (hybrids too, maybe Vokeys too?).

And I agree with you, that if someone is looking for a late season upgrade Titleist could fit that spot of the latest and greatest. Maybe I'm bitter cuz I live in upstate NY lol. So our season is basically over when they release their woods/irons.

The other picture I sent was of the 917 F3 fwy and the TS3 fairway woods. The Trackman data was from the fwy woods and the drivers.

So yesterday JT was hitting 180 mph ball speeds with his new driver. Anyone happen to know where we might find some data on his ball speed with his old driver as a comparison point?

Cor is maxed

Mavrik SZ 16.5 Tour AD DI 7s
Cleveland Hibore Xli 3,4,5

Huh, didn’t know COR was the only relevant component that has an affect on distance.

We were talking about ball speed

I got to hit and play rounds with both of these. I've not been a T driver man for a number of years, been with TM (Need Black, no white at all) so still have SLDR 430 TP Japanese model in the bag for now. I must kill spin as much as I can and keep the ball down as most of my play is in the wind. These are impressions without Trackman or other objective data, but I feel really confident in making these statements. I'm 67, swinging just under 100, using S shafts, current preference OBAN Devotion 6, 4 flex. I admit I play with shafts too much.

The 3 is indeed the Sh*t. Reduced sidespin, no matter which shaft, tried it with 4 different ones, but of T products, it shows my preferred statistics consistently. Sorting the shaft will be Job 1 for me. Need to try my current shaft and the TENSEI Orange, maybe White models. The size at address of the head is a bit bigger than my preference, eh no problemo

The 2 is the higher spinning, taking it out of consideration for me. It also is harder to keep down. Still, quite an excellent design for its niche.

Both of these are at or near the top of your to test list, a rather notable difference from 917 series, for which I could never find a fit. If I had to live with the S Diamana Blue 50 T offers, I could, such is the short-term confidence I built in these heads. I swung as freely at the Driver - not my fave club - with both of these consistently, almost new territory for me. I believe for me the sidespin reduction is real, but I can still bit my soft cut I've played my whole life. Confidence isn't discussed enough in Driver talk, I'm seeing real confidence here, I have played enough with the TS2 to confidently say this.

Give it a shot, boys.

JT calls this driver "The SH*T" ....for TS.......

gotta think his win at firestone will give sales of this club a major boost.....may be Titleists best driver? my 910 is amazing but I'm thinking about this one now....just wish it came in a 440 head

It doesn't work that way.

The only people who know what driver he was playing are golf forum nerds.

Nobody walks in Golf Galaxy and says "give me the TS blah because JT won with it"

Most wouldn't be able to tell you he plays Titleist let alone driver model.
