Actually hoping the TS2 retains some of the moderate spin Titliest drivers (and Ping) have been known for

Easier for me and many to dial the appropriate spin and launch with shaft from there

Fingers are crossed

My thought exactly!

I totally agree as well but I fear Titleist has joined the low spin race.

Anyone with insight on this would be greatly appreciated

I want to know if it is worth following these or just forget them and stick to Ping

Thank you

The new TS heads are slightly lower spinning depending on the player but it’s not something that Titleist tried to accomplish. The 200 to 350 rpms of less spin are more of a result of the tighter specs resulting in lower true loft for each respective head. Titleist did not intentionally try to make the TS heads low spin. These head designs are more focused on forgiveness and ball speed. They are happy with the spin numbers, or lack thereof that they were getting from previous generations. Titleist drivers aren’t built for the 20 cap with a -5 AoA with the Driver.

Same tips as 910-917? If so I might pick up a 910 head and look for a tour ad BB if I know for sure I'll be able to throw the TS2 head on it afterwards.

I'm really intrigued, and have played the 915 for 2.5 years and now absolutely loved the 917. I'm especially interested in what the shaft list will look like.

Drivers will have the same adapter as always. The fairways will have the same as the 917 model.

This makes me happy. I asked Titleist if the tip was going to be the same and the fellow I spoke to had no idea.

I'm more than likely going to be grabbing a TS driver and was hoping I wouldn't have to swap all the tips on my shafts.

Don’t just assume that the shaft you are using will be the best fit in a new head with different characteristics. Get fit again with the new head.

If the TS3 can knock my gamer out of the bag I will be very impressed, lots of hype surrounding it but there was a similar buzz leading into the 917 which I didn't like very much. If the the TS3 can perform as well as my 915D3 whilst feeling and sounding more like a 910 that would be something.

Supposedly much more forgiving then the 917 per Michael Kim.... Following the high MOI trend and focusing on Off Center hits.

If this is true, in addition it comes stock with the HZRDUS Smoke, and feels and sounds like the 910...Game on.

I have a heap of shafts with Titleist tips as I've been using Titleist drivers for a while now. Having said that I'd be very surprised if my KK DC TX shaft isn't the best one for me, as it usually is.

Could the "T" in TS stand for Tungsten. Maybe internally placed to achieve or create a different dynamic for launch and spin. If so, would this be the first use of tungsten inside a driver? I know it's been used by PING on the outside.

Are they waiting for all the hype to die down before they release it? Jeesh....

Honestly, maybe....

Once the initial buzz from all the 1st released pics have been beaten to death by golf forums, and magazines (maybe 2-4 weeks from now) they'll finally allow WRX, YouTube, etc. reviewers release their reviews and content and findings, as well as Titleist marketing for the new line.

I’m hoping this can finally replace my 910 from my bag, I am asking a lot though as the 910 is a real fairway finder that feels pretty good

917 will get the 910 out of your bag. Give it a swing

Had a 917 on 2 different occasions - still using the 910. Obviously a great head, just not for me.

Everyone just needs to relax! They will be available here in a couple months. Then we will all be able to move on to complaining about the wait for the new iron lines coming out next fall.

I need to double check but I think the embargo date is 30 days out, or less. And don’t worry about waiting for new irons from Titleist. They will have two new sets coming out this Fall.

917 Didn't win for me when I tested, it gave some impressive results on the monitor and also on the course but didn't win me over with feel
