What horrible coverage by golf channel. It's not that hard to cover four matches and golf channel is still dropping the ball.

 

I set my TV to turn on at 3 am. Figured I would watch some before heading to work. I mean there are only 4 matches. How hard is it to show more than a putting contest? Or a commercial interrupted by putts?

 

Match play is compelling television. But only when you show how things got o the point as well. It's not watchable when they go to a green, say "Reed put his ball in the water, so he is out of the hole. These guys have these putts." Who on earth thought this was the way to cover golf, much less a match play event like this?

Yes, one side was really clutch in the closing holes to beat down the other one, and it wasn't the one with 15 majors. Other Euros all choked though.
