Don't you need to go to Dallas to get fitted? Or I could just buy vokeys

I am sure folk buy without in person fittings.

my dads putter was fitted on video and he is in love. I have been in person for my wedges and putter, if I need new wedges they have the exact spec ready to make.

Anyone take a 56 and bend it to 54? Curious how that would play since that is what I would need for my gapping.

I'm gonna be a bit of a mooch here...

Anyone seen any pictures, or can take one if you own them, of the profile of the grind looking from heel to toe looking down the profile of the 60* wedge?  I'm just genuinely interested in how it's cambered/shaped from front to back.  I have seen some pictures that are close to the right angle (looks relatively high cambered), but nothing that really shows how exactly it's profiled.

Mine 56 is bent to 55 and 1 flat, it's perfectly fine & a very versatile wedge.

I will say they are HEAVY especially if you get the S400 TI shaft in it.

It will take a round or 2 to get adjusted to the heft.

Fantastic wedges. I am used to the S200 and haven't overly noticed the difference with the 4 gram heavier S400 tbh. The grinds are to die for around the green.

I will say having got used to the Vokey F and K grind out of bunkers the heel relief has been instantly noticeable and bunker shots are still a works in progress.

if I order the 60* wedge as is stock,  will it come with golf pride TV cord or the TM TV cord and will it be logo down like Tigers?

Typically these are not an in stock option. Most places it would be custom ordered, but the "stock" option is the tour issue s400 and the golf pride cord grip.

I have the 60 and the grind is absolutely perfect for me.  I have tried just about every lob wedge out there and the only other wedge that I have liked was the SM5 k grind.

with the blunted leading edge I have been able to lay the club wide open, play it back in my stance, get the shaft in front of the club head and just hit down hard on the back of the ball.   It comes out mid high with an absolute crap load of spin.   If I need to hit it higher I just move the ball up in my stance.

I actually have a brand new one in the back up bad with the plastic still on it for when my gamer wears out

Really enjoy mine so far. Not the greatest with wide open shot but square to slightly open. I always refer to it as a surgical scalpel, if you know what you're doing with it, it is awesome.

I still have both in my bag. They replaced two Hi-Toe wedges and I can't say I have missed the old wedges much. I have even found these to be pretty dang good out of the bunkers. These are safely in the bag for awhile!

I've had mine in the bag for roughly 2 months. I gotta say, I'm very impressed. I love them as full and partial swing clubs, particularly around the greens. The grinds are versatile and I love the heft of the shaft. Ball flight is low and controlled with a ton of spin. Never thought I'd be a TaylorMade wedge guy, and I'm not even a Tiger fan. But these have kicked out both my Vokey SM8 and my Callaway JAWS wedge sets.

They are really good. Bought the 60* to replace a PM grind I had (odd club). Can't say enough about the TW 60*, perfect grind, sole and bounce for touch shots around the green and a nive straight leading edge to square up the ball. Ended up getting the 56* haven't hit it much yet, but have been impressed so far.

I have the TW grind in my 60 and honestly have been trying NOT to play it so its as fresh as can be for my guys golf trip to the beach in a couple weeks. I have the 50 and 54 in regular grind. They are slightly rusted and i see no difference after playing with them since they have been released. They will have the same raw face as the TW edition. Its a must buy!

I finally pulled the trigger on the MG3 TW’s in 56 & 60.

Quick question… can someone explain to me how they should be used? Sounds like a funny question but not 100% sure which club is suited for what and how the relief on each can and should be used.

For background I typically use my 52 for stock chips that bounce and roll out from short grass. Sort of that back of the stance, square face, brushing technique.

I’ll use my 60 for almost any other shot where I have less green to work with and play it a bit more Open and forward and still try to brush the grass and not dig.

Obviously I want to take full advantage of my new TW wedges and probably move away from the 52 for the run out chips. Which one are you guys using for which shots and how? How is the grinds helping you for each club??

Congrats on the purchase. Those look amazing. I can only speak from experience on the 60*. I have the MG2 and love it! The biggest thing with the TW grind on the 60 is how the leading edge sits close to the ground, but because of the way it’s made, there’s still bounce right behind it to help keep the edge from digging in.

I am pretty shallow with all my clubs especially my wedges, so I hate for the leading edge to sit up on chip and pitch shots. It also has a good amount of heel and toe relief to keep the leading edge close to the ground when you open it up, and it cuts through sand really well.

The 56 has a ton of heel relief as well so in my opinion, you can use either of them in the sand. Just depends how much green you have to work with on which I would use.

I know you said you may move away from the 52 on bump and run shots, but in my humble opinion, I think that is the best club for those shots. When I first got my Tiger wedge, I wanted to use it for everything but would drop shots per round because it wasn’t always using the correct club for the shot. I have 50, 54 & 60 setup so I actually use my MG2 50 on tons of shots from 60 yards and in when I have back pin location. It gives me plenty of spin and I can make a shorter swing and keep the ball low. The high, spiny shots that zip back are sexy though! Lol. Cheers!

I have questions about these.

looking at buying 60° TW

i am commig from Ping Glide 3.0. 50°,54°,60°.

I use my 60° For sand shorts and open face shots (which what I think I would contradicts what I think I need.). Need higher bounce for sand and lower for open face.

I would think the TW grind would fit the bill. High bounce for sand and heel relief for open shots.  No where to try it tho.  Thoughts?

I'm actually going the other direction. I just ordered a glide 3.0 60 TS. The 60TW is awesome when your playing it square, I'm not a fan of it totally opened up but just slightly and it's money. The straight leaning edge/no offset is awesome.
