What is the oldest club in your bag?

Depends on how you interpret the question. The oldest club in my bag is a V-Steel 3w that were originally released in 2003, BUT, I only purchased the club a month ago. The club that has been in the bag the longest is the Ping Gmax driver, purchased new I believe in 2017.

My bag has completely turned over in the last 3 years, so my oldest club is my 2018 Callaway X-forged UT bent to 22°.  I had the original Callaway UT but did not like seeing the huge bulge on the back, the smaller vertical face size and the fact it turned over so easily.  Callaway solved those issues with the X-forge UT.  I can use it from the tee, into long par 3s, out of the rough and naturally off the deck - just an awesome club. It will probably remain there for at least another model cycle because you can now see the bulge again behind the top line of the new UT ...😬

Oldest club = Scotty Cameron TeI3 Santa Fe from 1998 (still in almost perfect condition)

Oldest non-putter = Nickent 4DX 3 wood bent to 13.5 degrees with a UST Proforce X-flex shat from 2008

 

It's a shame Nickent went out of business. They made some of the best fairway woods and hybrids back in the day.

The past couple of weeks I swapped my 3 hybrid for my old Xhot (2013?) 5 wood with an OG BlueBoard. Not sure it's gonna hang around or not.

I hit it roughly the same distance as the 3h, but a lot higher. Downside is I can't flight it like the 3h. so it's not as versatile.

I have a 1950s vintage George Lowe Wizard putter that just putts really well for me. I switch back and forth between that and a 10ish year old Scotty Squareback.

2012 scotty select newport, 34.5" that's probably not going away anytime soon. Next oldest is a vokey SM4 64* wedge. It's barely used but i can't seem to kick it out of my bag due to always seeming to need it at least once or twice a round and not really needing anything else at the top of my bag

My buddy I play with often has this burner rescue from like 2007- So versatile with the completely stock stiff shaft- I just love it because at our home course there's this par 3 that has like a 200 carry and the flag can be up to 230 out- He hits this crazy flop hybrid that goes straight on the green- It's just hilarious because he could hit a 5 or 4 iron but feels more confident hitting that weird flop hybrid off the tee.

Taylor Made Original Rocketballz Tour Issue 14.5 FW.  Maybe from 2011?  Motore shaft.  Still all you need distance wise and forgiving.

Hogan Edge hybrid, 2h, 19 degree loft.  Regrip it every year or so.  It's not going anywhere.   I do my job, it does its job.  But I just replaced an ancient Callaway Warbird 3 wood with a Mizuno ST200 3 wood.  That was overdue.

 

As for putter--I've used the eternal Wilson Staff 8802 forever.   My current iteration isn't more than 5-6 years old, but anybody on here remember Arnie's Army?

Oldest club in the bag is an Odyssey V Line Fang putter. Bought it used, It looks like hell , probably bought and sold 50 putters trying to find something prettier, but they're all gone and this thing just works for me. Huge BUMMER Odyssey stopped making this version in all the new rollouts.

Oldest clubs are my irons; Hogan Edge from 1989, 3-SW.  I tried other irons over the years but these are just so consistent.

Adams Super Xtd Hybrid at 17 degrees. I think those came out in 2012. I have not found a hybrid or 5 wood that is longer off the deck than this thing.

 

Also experimenting with an x2 hot 3 deep at 14.5.

60 degree BeCu 588 - 1999. I blast the face with coal slag once a year (OK per TWishon).

 

But I also rotate between MX-23s - 2003 and MX-25s - 2006.

 

Newest club? Stroke lab Marxman. Arriving tomorrow - with the snow...☹️

Right now, I've got a Minuzo T-Zoid Comp-EZ 2i in the bag, from 1999, so 21 years. However, it's about to be bumped out by a Sub70 699 ProU. When it does, the oldest I'll have is....SLDR hybrid circa 2014 😁

It's funny you posted this, my boss got custom fitted for a PXG driver and gave me this driver with a project x evenflow 6.0 in it. It's not in my bag at the moment, nowhere to test it out right now, and it has some a big hill to climb to replace my current driver if my last couple rounds hold true.

 

In response to your question, I don't know what my oldest club is lol. I think it's probably the lob wedge from warrior custom golf from my dad. It's basically brand-new but he got them years ago and never took them out of the box. Of the clubs that I know the age of, it's my driver, Taylormade r1s.

The oldest club in my bag is the driver and 3 wood, both Titleist TS products I have had all the way back to last July 2019.  And the driver is getting replaced with the TSi I have on order.  The 3 wood may stay for a little while.🤣

I believe the oldest club in my bag is the Scratch Golf 47* milled-face 8620 wedge that I have bent to 49*, and use as my gap wedge. It's certainly my favorite wedge, and may be my 2nd favorite club overall, only surpassed by my EVNROLL ER2 putter.

Scotty Newport Mid slant platinum.  1999 I believe.  Only year with the crown on the face. Love it so much I will get it restored before I replace it

Although the putter spot in my bag is a carousel, my original white hot 2ball has been there the longest. Really tempted to bench it for a Tour Edge Wingman, so who knows lol. Other than that, my JPX 900 5 wood will probably never leave the bag, the weapon of choice.

OG TM Superfast TP driver. I bought this here almost 6yrs ago for $45 bucks and I still havent been able to kick it out of the bag.
