The Evnroll ER2 is the finest putting instrument ever devised by a human mind.  For me, it outperforms Scotty Cameron, Bettinardi, Piretti and Carbon putters, and all others I have owned, from long, mid and short range.  You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

Agreed, the evnroll ER2 and ER5 are fantastic. I am sure the other models are equally good, but I can only comment on the two models that I own. Very satisfied.

I completely agree... I almost can’t explain it. 
I’ve been using a Cameron X12 for a year, and although I liked it... I got to itch to buy an Evnroll ER10.  It arrived yesterday, and it’s amazing.

Admittedly kind of a silly thing to judge by, but I’ve been practicing with the PuttOut training aid for over a month...I’ve had 5 “perfect putts” (where it lands perfecting in the hole) with the X12 over that time.  I have 7 with the ER10 in not even 24 hours.

I like the tech but the one I tried, Newport style, felt awful to me. Not sure if they all feel that way

I too have an ER2 and love it, best putter I ever used, but I prefer a heavy putter. I guess it's all personal preference

I’ve stayed away from ER as I did not like how poorly the Rife putters performed on slow greens .. ball almost came off too dead

 

I do like the feel and the heavier weights when I roll them though

Love my ER5. Ball does comes off the face a tad slower than smooth faced putters but that was pretty easy to adjust to. Love the simplicity of the design too. Just a piece of stainless steel on a shaft. No multi material construction, no inserts, removable this or that.

This...have they improved the feel at all on these.  Felt glassy, a bit harsh to me.  Admittedly, I am a soft feel guy.

If they could only speed the face up to be around other putters it would make them much easier to switch to and from, but they are soooo slow!

I still game a Hybrid 2 Bar. I know what you mean about feel on slow greens, but I've found that with a little bit of release of the wrists it performs great.

The ER2 was one of the best putters I ever rolled - on carpet.  It played horribly for me on grass tho.  My distance control was terrible with it.

I owned two Hybrid 2 Bar Rife putters.  Still have them in the garage somewhere.  I liked the roll and especially the ability to adjust and bend the lie angle.  But they were really bad value for me.  Why?  The faces of both were very soft, so soft I could virtually bend the groves on the face with my fingernail!  Naturally, despite my best efforts, both putters got a small bump somehow with another club in the bag, right on the face, and the face became damaged and useless due to the marks.  They would not putt true anymore as the gouge would hit the ball and send it offline.   This is despite trying to put the cover over the putter immediately.  

Perhaps the later Rife putters had a sturdy face, but the Hybrid 2 Bar faces were so delicate they were useless in the real world in my opinion.

I just recently got my Bettinardi Queen b6 putter. Beautiful looking and man what a nice soft feel and true roll, I think it is a keeper.

When the 2-Bar was introduced, you couldn't find one to try because they were gone as soon as they arrived at the store. The Champions Tour made them famous and they were as popular as the two and three ball putters, just not as plentiful. I still see one now and then and the guy who's wielding it can usually roll it pretty good. The only Rife I ever owned was the pre-cursor to the Mr. Beasley, it is called a Mid- Mallet 400 and definitely the first of two mallets I really cared for. The Beasley was/is an outstanding putter. Does anyone have a headcover that says, "end-over-end-over-end-over-end...?

Totally agree. Got the ER2B fitted to my specs and it's incredible, I always loved the looks of a blade, but putted better with a mallet. The feel and noise it makes when struck is an adjustment, but the roll is absolutely unbelievable. My practice balls all have a line drawn on them to judge my roll and even when I feel a terrible stroke go, the ball still tracks. Truly incredible.

My ER2B is fantastic. I have quite a few putters lying around and it outperforms all of them, even the big name ones.

The Evnroll website gives an outstanding description on how the groove tech works on these putters, controlling distance. Once you make the adjustments for the ball speed, you will see that even on a miss hit on the putter, the ball still goes the distance. Its quite a unique technology.

I own the ER2 and ER5, and they feel great and perform better than other putters that I have played. Guerin Rife deserves many accolades for this design. Outstanding !

I had the same problem with my (over-the-phone fitted) ER2B. It was fantastic on carpet but I couldn't dial in distance on the course.

 

I don't know what happened but at one point, literally overnight, it just clicked and I am putting so much better with it now than I was before. I don't get it, but I'm glad I persevered.

I was in Golf Galaxy yesterday and they had a ton of them on the shelf.  So nice to be able to try them all.  Almost walked out with a ER2, but I wasn’t 100% sure on the gravity grip.

My Rife Aussie is my current gamer. I keep going back to it. It's just as beautiful as any of my Cameron blades and cost a fraction of those. Plus, it puts a great roll on the ball. I tell people to look at Rife's classic putters when they want a cheap Scotty.

btw...his best putter of all time is the GUERIN line of putters.   Search “Guerin Tour Spec“.  Best feeling putter in golf. I was an Evnroll early adopter and gave it away to a friend...GR 3 mallet still in my bag after 7 years.
