How is removing your shirt (or pants) on a pro tour OK?

When is the last time you saw that walking down the fairway at a tour event? When they go into a hazard yes. Outside a hazard no.

Another point I'd like to make: These guys get their clothes for free. It's OK to get some mud on your shirt. Throw it in the bin after your round if it's ruined. Your clothing sponsor will send you another.

I fully expected the usual suspects to post their "lighten up," "it must still be winter," "get off my lawn" responses. You are as predictable as the sun rising in the east. Especially Hawkeye.

What I have not heard is how it makes sense for the PGA Tour (among others) to require long pants but allow players to go shirtless or pantless whenever they want. I've also not heard a defense of these professionals who cannot bear to have some water or mud on their clothes.

 

I would also suggest they incur a slow play penalty for the 5+ minutes it undoubtedly takes them to do their strip tease and then dress again.

That is very true there are a lot of unhappy people out there.  I chose to try and enjoy anything I’m putting my time and effort into.  Of course it doesn’t always work but life is mostly about attitude.

Pay me no attention.  Had a good friend pass this evening , and been stuck with my father in law for the last 6-7 months on a project that will never end....my balance of work/grief  to play is way out of whack with no relief in sight.

Blade!  I thought that other post was very un-blade like. Sorry to hear about your loss. 

 

I lost my Mom suddenly back last year.

Now, dads very sick, might have a couple/few years...maybe not. Unbelievable, one right after the other. 
 

But never lose that joie de vivre. Try to remember how much people benefit from all the hard work and undesirable things you take on your shoulders and just need to do. 

Grind it out and find some time for yourself in there.
