Mitsubishi Kai'li White?

We've seen some testing on tour — most recently David Hearn and Chris Baker — and have had no official info about this shaft profile. MCA is playing things close to the vest (as you can see), but we were provided the info below yesterday. 

 

What are your thoughts GolfWRXers? Where will Ka'ili fit in the MCA lineup?

 

How do you pronounce it?
KY-LEE

What is it?
Kai’li is a new product we’re developing that is in the testing phase on tours around the world. Early reports are very encouraging. We’ll have more to share about Kai’li as we gather more information.

 

Is it related to the old Diamana Kai’li part?
No. This is an entirely new part with no tie to the previous Diamana Kai’li.

 

When will this be available to me?
To be determined. As we get more info and reports from tours and our testing procedures, we’ll have more answers.

 

What is new about Kai’li?
This new Kai’li has some pretty interesting construction and material stories going on. Can’t get into specifics of all that just yet, but this will fit a traditional low/low whiteboard profile.

Who is Kai’li White for?
Kai’li is a part that we’re developing for many purposes. It may generate interest from strategic OEM partners but
will still be appealing for touring professionals and aftermarket customers.

From the looks of the graphics looks like this may be the new OEM shaft replacing the Tensei and Diamana Plus from years past.

Lawd have mercy.  The club ho in me might force me to get this MCA shaft.  I'm always good for a low/low  shaft.  Will this one have T1100, MR70, Boron, Kevlar, Titanium, Uranium, etc.?  😅

Great, more confusion on the horizon. MCA makes outstanding shafts but their identifiers leave a little to be desired.

 

Having said that, the OG Kai'li (2nd gen. Blueboard) was an exceptional shaft and one of my top 5 all-time.

It could very well be.  Do you remember the OG Diamana X?  That sucker was low torque as well.

Anymore updates on this release? Will we see it before the new year. Out of all the new releases this seems to have the most tour adoption.

When I first started seeing this shaft teased there was both a blue and white version in the pics. Lately, I’ve only seen the white. Anyone know if there is still a blue version?

Interesting that they are revealing this one so soon after Diamana PD. Is this a USA designed shaft vs. PD designed in JPN?

i have personally tested this shaft, and the blue version...

i have some thoughts and there will be a lot of guys on WRX that will love both versions...

 

they guys who love the whiteboard/tensei lineup will surely love the white. they have a blue one as well that was my favorite of the two - also seemed to get better ball speed numbers with the blue as well.

I’ve got the Kai’li White on the way, I’m a huge fan of the Tensei Pro Orange, do you think I’ll like the Kai’li? Both are 70 TX in the driver.

Itll feel more stable than the PO for sure. You'll like it - I'm 98% sure of it lol (gotta leave a little on the table just incase u don't)

I think the blue is closest to it - the white imo is too firm in feel for it to be close to the DF.

i managed to find one on an online auction site.

 

It’s sitting at my Fl address, just waiting on a couple more things before I have them Fedexed to Perth.

 

When I’ve got it I can MSG you if you would like to catch up and try hitting it.
