Grips with best combo of grip and comfort

Been using Lamkin Player’s Cord since October and I like the feel and performance overall. Problem is, I’ve been practicing a lot more lately and my gloves and hands have been taking a beating. What’s everyone’s preferred grip that does well in moisture but doesn’t tear up your hands?

Back when I preferred a softer grip, I always had good luck with the Winn dri-tac wraps, of course being softer they're not the most durable. They are very comfortable, are easy on gloves, and I didn't notice any slipping on even the sweatiest of days

I just switched my MP54's from dri-tac wrap mids over to players cords this year, I love them. You very well may be my evil twin

Winn Dri-Tac +1/8 oversize  wraps are the only grips I can swing now due to hand fatigue thanks to an autoimmune nerve disorder over the past decade...now starting to play again but have to use an oversize grip due to loss of grip strength... to the best of my knowledge Winn Dri-Tacs are the only oversize grips available that are still in the standard 50gram weight range other than the super soft Winn Excels

I have been absent from these forums for at least a dozen years...hello to anyone who may remember me from many years ago

Golf Pride MCC's are nice.

Although personally I like a firm cord.

^^^ this, though I think they changed the name to New Decade. My favorite grip as it has some of the cord vibe on the left hand, and a but softer on the right. I don’t get along with the +4 version and I find that a lot softer in the right hand.

While I've never lived in the Pacific NW like you, I did grow up in NW Florida where we got plenty of rain and high humidity had me regularly battling keeping my grips dry.
Always hated cord grips, and my usual practice was to always have a dry towel and to swap out my glove every hole (rotating three, wet gloves wear faster) or even use a rain glove - and, other than occasionally trying others, I've been using GP Tour Velvets since they first came out. They've always felt the best to me, and as long as I kept them washed about once a month they didn't become slippery when wet/damp.

Iomic sticky 2.3.  These are my favorite grips of all time.  They do very well when there's moisture involved and are soft enough to lessen the beating your hands take during a round of golf.  They are more expensive but also last a lot longer than any other grip out there if you clean them regularly.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan. I’ve just been hitting balls pretty much every day and my hands are starting to pay for it. Might be chasing a unicorn but I’d love to find that same feel/performance without the wear on the hands.

Give the Pure DTX a try.

I’ve played the pure pro and liked them pretty well. Saw they have a combo grip now that looks intriguing.

I'm a big fan of dri-tac and DT LT but it really doesn't last long. If Dri-tac tears up your hands, I think your grip pressure is too much. However, since you practice a lot, you may have to change your grip a few times in one season. Heard 2.0 version is much more durable but can't confirm.

My brother played the original dri-tac and I wasn’t a fan of how squishy they were. He loved them though.

If you haven’t already, I’d suggest trying out some leather grips. They’re worth the investment. They can last for multiple years with regular use and get better over time.

I’ve had the grip master kangaroo leather grips for a little bit. Very easy on the hands and sticky as well, incredible for hot/humid weather.

I have 1 of their Kidd leather grips as well, a few bucks cheaper, a tad softer, a tad less sticky.
