I don’t think the tsi line has a silver face.  Or is muted.  I had the 2 and 3.  Maybe with some hotmelt.    The 300 sounds nearly  like persimmon thwack.  It’s addicting.

That is exactly the sound/feel that I am drawn too.  I always kind of assumed that was most desirable.  I never really noticed that there is a large segment of golfers that actually like a metallic crack.  A lot of people have been referencing the OG Epic as an example of sound gone wrong.  I think it was probably my feeling modern driver.

Typically it's not too long before general availability which is two months out yet.  So, I wouldn't hold out hope that you'd be seeing them out there until the end of January or so at the earliest.

Little disappointed the stealth is basically a Sim2 black with a carbon face..i didnt like the sim2 because of the rear weight i seemed to snag it on my takeaway did anyone else have this issue and is there a different weight out there ?

I don't mind the Sim2 look, and I've never had the rear of the club dragging the ground personally. I know they have different weights you can switch, but I'm not sure if there is a size difference or that you'd like the performance you get with a different weight. My first thoughts were the same as yours though, it's a repainted Sim2 but I'm fine with that. I just want to see what, if any, performance differences there are. I'm also very curious about the feel of the club as well!

It shouldn't take many reviews to tell whether the ball speed gains are real or marketing hype. Most of the YouTube reviewers that will have reviews out on the day the embargo are lifted will be able to tell.

 

For me, I'm around 106 / 158. If that suddenly pops to the low 160s with the same SS, I'll be pretty impressed.

Honestly I've never even heard of this before. OG SimMax from day 1 and the rake/angle I think is similar.

Don't count on it. Release is jan 4. Demo heads arrive sometime after that. Local retailer here said the following week is when he expects the demo head. 

 

But he also got the sim demo head early 2 years ago. It's possible retailers will have them before 1/4. But unlikely anyone else will be able to see or hit them prior to then.

How sure are we that release is Jan. 4? I first heard about the Stealth from my club pro and his buddy who had spoke with their TM Reps, and it seems like they had the impression that the first official ads/info would be released in Jan. but still nothing showing much about the club. I know we knew about Sim2 for a while before release this year.

Yep.  I’ve threatened to go back to it myself. lol.  I detest a hard feeling driver.  For what it’s worth. Mavrik standard is decent sounding.  But subzero is not.  To me.

I agree with that.  The standard Mavrik felt significantly better to me.  It seemed to perform like the SZ's of their previous lineup.  Aside from the one big deal breaker for me.  It had a draw bias.  I jumped on the Mav Triple Diamond as soon as I could.  I never should have gotten rid of that thing.  It performed so well.  But, the life of a club ho doesn't stop, so here we are and I am searching for another unicorn haha.

I am honestly not expecting gains from center contact vs. my SIM.  But, if this thing can bring up my average ball speed I am all ears.  That is what has me the most excited.  I think we'll find out pretty quickly once places like TXG are able to post reviews.

I will be the antagonist to that. Lol. We all like what we like but I think the Sim and Sim2 were a very popular shape and look. I heard very few complaints about the shape of those heads. To me this looks as though it kept a very similar shape and according to my shop guys it did keep a similar shape but sleeker. The face looks deeper and doesn’t appear to roll into the crown like those heads did. I love the matte on gloss trim top line. I’m not afraid of color and actually love the face and I’m sure it will frame the ball beautifully. Especially if they offer a green custom face 😂

Agree. I’m not a hooker and yet I couldn’t tame that left miss it had.  It showed up in a fade or a draw.  But loved the launch and sound.
