Anyone Have An Idea of What TM’s Driver Plans Are for 2022?

Whether or not the "SIM" name continues, I doubt they are going to change the overall design concept too much right now. The loss of the weight track was discussed a lot with the SIM2, and they mentioned getting rid of it "for now", so i'd be willing to bet with Titleist and PING having made much more efficient weight track designs that we'll see a revamped version of "MWT" with a fancy sequel-y name on an otherwise slightly iterated on SIM-style platform. 

I have no insider info or anything, just reading between the lines, and with how crazy successful the SIM was i'd imagine it will continue on in some capacity.

I agree MWT has got to return. Big question is will it be up by the face like SIM or in the back like TSi3 or G425?

Everything is trending rearwards so I would guess back. I'd also guess multiple fixed locations like the PING/Titleist. The weight cost of making a track to allow for continuous weight placement is high, and there is little value in the perceived flexibility of placing the weight anywhere along a track. I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole forged aluminum ring to expand and allow multiple rear weight placement spots.

It's going to be hard to beat this year's version (SIM2). I switched from a M3 and it barely got beat out by the SIM2. Always excited for new releases but once I find a driver that works it's is in the bag for a while.

Hopefully this. I hit both yesterday and honestly could not tell them apart at address or in performance if I didn’t look down at the bottom of the club.

Seemed fairly obvious that the new way of constructing the head was laying the groundwork for the next revision or two. Expect evolutionary changes, not an entirely new driver head concept. The next driver having some sort of MWT being integrated feels like a logical expectation.

Yeah I think you could consider that the only thing "lacking" from the SIM line, not quite enough MOI/CG separation between models. PING spoiled us a bit there with the G400 MAX though, definitely raised the bar.

pretty sure you guys are going to do a sim 3. It will be the best of the last 3 years. You will put back in the weight system. Sound about right?

The earliest you can see new TM Drivers coming out is when the USGA announces that their 2022 drivers are USGA legal in the months to come.   The OEMs have to submit it to them months before their official retail date.

The first gen had a pretty decent seperation. Another thing i wonder is how successful the “my sim” thing was. Will they keep it? I still like the idea, but not the upcharge for it.
