Rickie Fowler and John Tillery

Anyone watch Rickie on the 1st round at RBC?  Why was he so bad?

 

Was it all around problems or is he just really cold on a certain aspect of his game?

He rotates his wrists too much through impact.... he over exaggerates it and decreases accuracy.  Next time watch for it... Strengthen grip a hair and rotate less

 

Needs to buy one of these putting mats, they're cheap like $39 and hit putts everyday, its even fun while you're watching TV and he'll be right as rain... 🦆

Would like to see him get back to being around on Sunday.  It's likely he was never good as the golf world believed/wanted, but not bad as his current run.

He also needs to spend about 4 hours a day in the sand bunker in his backyard. His short game is atrocious, but his bunker play is worse than that.

I dont know what Rick should do but it probably involves with what Butch was telling him when he blasted him publicly. Maybe he doesn't care because he can retire and live life now.

The dude isnt poor like us, he probably has an indoor and outdoor putting greens each with 3 tvs, one of them on p0rnhub

Tough spot for Fowler golf wise. There is nothing in his game right now that is dependable. He is not the young phenom that companies were betting on. Endorsements drying up or paying alot less. 8 starts in 2022 5 missed cuts, T55, T42, T52 might be panic mode....Wait he has a hot wife so forget that other stuff

if he invested his money properly it really doesn't matter if he never swings a club again

I believe potentially longer than that. He's exempt this year due to his last win. There are two different exemptions for career top 25 and 50.  He's 23rd right now and a couple guys behind him could pass him but it's unlikely that he falls out of top 25 which would still leave him with the top 50.  He's on the tour for awhile if he wants to be

He might be. Wife, baby, life changes, and tour talent gets better every year.  His 95% isn't good enough and his 100% (if he can get there) might just be mid-pack today?

Ya lol was kinda my hidden meaning that if us poor chumps can have a cheap putting green that improves our game then why in the F cant his $100,000 set up help him shoot a couple under par or even par lol 🚜

I’ve got to look up the Butch blast thing, but he has to start over. Grip, stance, the works. I rarely even see the guy in the first and second rounds anymore. Whatever teacher, whatever caddie he’s got to stay with somebody. 
As mentioned earlier he gets a little handsy. If your handsy it’s all about timing. Who knows what’s going on with him but I do wish him well.
