Hoping it has some cool improvements!  I think the Moonlite needs to find its niche again as a true Sunday bag.  In my opinion, this version was too bulky to be a true Sunday bag and was kind of a worse, legless hoofer lite.  It either needs a few more features if it's going to be a bag for a full set or change its intention to be for 7-10 clubs. 

 

Regardless, I hope the new version has a some sort of mechanism that keeps the lip of it off the ground on dewy mornings full of grass clippings.  And that the vertical strap stays up better. 

 

I just emailed Ping about the Moonlite and they wouldn’t comment on what might happen with the bag.  Hopefully it gets a refresh soon, I like one for 9 hole rounds.

Just saw that they came out with a Blackout Edition of the Hoofer LIte.  Didn't see that when it was originally released.  Anybody know of any additional colors coming?  I still have my old white camo one that I'd live to replace in the Lite.

I just this color option this afternoon, definitely think it’s new cause I don’t remember seeing it in the past but it also says out of stock. I have my buddy at my local golf store calling tomorrow to check on it and see what the deal is, I’m putting an order in asap if it’s a soon to be released option.

Yea, my buddy at my local store called the Ping rep and he the Blackout color scheme is an online only option, that they had sold out but were supposed to be coming back in stock yesterday and he was correct...already scooped it!

I ordered the blackout one which I think is pretty cool. 2024 is going to be the same design, they will probably add a new color or two in the standard color ways but those never impress me. The limited ones they release like these tend to be the cool ones.

Anybody seen this Kryptek Pontus colorway in person? I like vivid, colorful stuff, but not sure this is it... still would love to see any in-person pictures anybody might be able to share!

That blackout Hoofer Lite looks awesome. Wish it was offered in the regular Hoofer.

I've been going back and forth on potentially buying this colorway for about 2 months now. I pay it a visit in the store every week. lol.

Just got mine today and looks great. The only problem is the bag is kind of wrinkled up on some pockets. Wonder if I should contact ping about it or maybe the wrinkles will work themselves out? I've always bought my bags in store and never had that issue.

They'll straighten out.  Could hit it with a clothes steamer if want to accelerate the process.

yeah it should. It’s kind of like the bag in that picture above that I just screenshot except mine has ping letters on it as well. Mine probably isn’t this bad though. Ping should be keeping cardboard in the pockets to retain shape. Mine didn’t have any and looks like these didn’t either.

can you post a photo of it? Thinking about grabbing the blackout as well 

 

my Hoofer lite is in great shape just faded from a few years of Texas sun…might be time for a fresh one!

The blackout bag is a sick color scheme.  For some reason tho the accessories pocket of the hoofer lites on the carry side look odd to me.  Almost too flat or seamless or something.

I do like that blackout bag. Looks really good!

 

I am looking at that bag and also considering ordering a custom bag from Ping. I contacted Ping and they said they could make a bag with this red camo (see image). I'd obviously get it without the AJGA stuff... The only downside is I'd have to order 3 of them and wait a long time. This is such a dope color I think it might be worth ordering 3 and trying to sell the other 2.

I think you can get just about whatever. I just sent them an example but if you look at the college bags, there’s tons of options.

Right now its black, gray, blue and red camo options for the Hoofer lite and black and gray for Hoofer Zip. My school re designed our bags and went with a solid gray but I wanted the red camo. The rep told me they were making changes to the custom program and that red may be available in the future and about a year after it was. I too would like a red camo with our school logo and name on it but have to order at least 3. Thinking of maybe ordering 3, one for me, one for a guy who asked to buy a bag, and maybe raffle off the other for a fundraiser.

Thanks for the info, I had always wanted Orange camo, red camo looks cool too though. Can't order the orange sounds like so would have to be red.

76 rounds and the Hoofer Lite Tour is holding up, but I should have applied some Scotch Guard. Looking nasty.
