The Tour Issue TSR2 driver and TSR3 wood must come with those white marks on the bottom because I have the regular versions and there are no sign of any of those on mine...🤣

Prior to the TSi3, he had been TS3 which is what I was in before I upgraded to TSR2 and honestly, the TS3 is so close in looks to the TSR2 that is felt seamless.

Did you try the TSI3 Matty? I went from TS3 to TSi3 and its a lot more different than I expected. Did you have to loft down going from TS3 to TSR2??

I did give TSi3 a go but not for very long. I had decided that it wasn't going to be an upgrade that I was making before it even came out so I had a hit but not a proper one and more just to see what it was like. When I went in for a TSR fitting, my thought in advance was that I would come out with TSR3 but having hit it (and TSR4) in every configuration we thought would work, it wasn't matching the TSR2.

 

I was 8.5 in my TS and I am at 8.25 in my TSR2. In fairness, at times, 8.5 was a little bit of work in the TS3 but no such issues in the TSR2...so far!

Great! So in terms of launch and spin, how much difference in both from TS3 to TSR2? I struggle to keep the TSi3 in the air as easy as I did with the TS3, so thinking of testing a TSR2 if its that much more forgiving and a bit easier to launch...

Launch and spin was very similar - the main difference was about 3mph in increased ball speed. Not massive gains but in actual play, I have the TSR2 to be a little longer (I think - hard to tell properly, playing winter conditions) and lot more forgiving that TS3.

Jordan with 3 majors - Faxon zero. Ask most Am golfers and they would say Jordan’s putter is right behind Tiger’s in recognition

I’m with you.  Like I said, it’s just my perception.  Still one of the best statistical putters in the game during his time and still stands to this day his 2000 season.  No majors, I get that.

Right!?  I guess it just sets the offset to what he likes to see. Otherwise, I do not get it. 0.5 degree would be 1.5 yard difference?

Hot take - did Titleist inadvertently derail Spieth when their drivers were not as long as other OEM’s? They were so short in relation that he tried to gain distance and ruined his game for about 3 years.
