For clarity, I wasn't being critical. I have an aunt and cousin that are nurses and they're wonderful people and great at their jobs. I also went to school with a couple girls that shortly after finishing nursing school, married a Doc and transitioned to stay at home mom as soon as they got pregnant. I'm not judging the choices, just trying to point out that a boss getting together with an employee is pretty common and not always a "Me too" situation.

I don't think this is true. Tiger was a certified killer and certified nerd as a teenager and young man. Charles Barkley tells a story of Tiger asking him how to approach women. Charles' response, "What do you mean? Just tell them your Tiger Woods!". You know the saying, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Tiger got too rich, too famous, too fast and simply struggled to handle it. 

 

This happens to almost everybody. Look at Jeff Bezos. Went from super skinny balding nerd, to shaved headed bajillionaire who traded in his smart professional wife for a hot latina tart.

TW has always been socially awkward, verging on a social cripple. It is, of course, all due to his parents and the way he was raised. When he became a global superstar he was trained how to handle  the press and to deal with public appearances, but he was always surrounded by handlers who controlled his exposure and had a very abnormal life compared to other Tour pros.  His marriage always had a hint of arrangement to it, and he was ill-equipped to deal with the challenges involved in such a commitment. He still hasn’t found what he’s looking for.

Who knows. I don't think a happy home life really precludes someone from high achievement. That said, considering how much of an influence his father was on him, and the fact that his Dad liked to step out on the misses, Tiger was probably destined to have these issues. But I'm not psychologist, so what do I know.

  It would be nice to only focus on what Tiger has done on the course. But much easier said than done. Especially in the world of social media. You can argue that he’s brought most of it upon himself. Sure nobody is perfect, but in the world of screw ups and bad decisions off the course, he’s definitely separated himself 🤷🏼‍♂️
