Lexi is actually coming off as delightful IMO. Normally don’t see much from her cause as she seems like a serious grinder.

And for those thinking Christina Kim was a bit cringey with some of her comments towards the guys (especially Max), that's just how she is. I met her several years back at a pro-am selection party, and even during that 2-3 minute interaction she made it a little awkward with some of her comments, but I still found her to be a lot of fun.

The stakes should have been higher. For example, if you lose you have to spend 36 holes golfing with Barkley and DJ Khaled.

 

And you don't get a cart by yourself. You have to have one of them riding with you. 😁

I agree. This was much better than anyone before it minus DJ Khaled and the other obnoxious guy. They were very awkward 

 

I think the ladies added a lot to it and they came off very fun. Even Rose’s reaction to some of Rory and Maxs shots was cool. Lexi came off with much more personality than I expected. Max was the sort of character I think the match was intended to showcase but always missed on. A lot of whit and banter. Sort of brought out the best in all of them including Rory. 
 

Even Trevor, Chuck and Ernie found their sweet spot. 
 

For the first time ever I am excited to see what’s next. Hope they don’t stray from the highlights of this one.

I thought Lexi was great too. Looked like she was actually having fun which was a contrast to normal rounds. 

 

I think the format could use some tweaks to get more of a team/partner vibe going.  Maybe best/worst ball, scramble, alt shot on some holes. Just something to mix it up and get the chatter going. 

 

Playing their own ball from different tees didn't really make for a lot excitement. 

 

I know they were trying to get all the audio from players but the overall broadcast seemed to lack some music. Lots of silence which seemed kinda awkward for a fun type event. Almost seemed like announcers had to force convos that kinda distracted players while they were in the middle of shots.

It was solid Monday night golf entertainment. It's exactly the sort of thing that pro golf needs right now. This should be a much more frequent thing.

 

My only complaints were DJ Khaled (why, seriously), and that the announcer's mics seemed way louder than the players. I wanted to hear what they were saying, not listen to some dudes babbling on in a booth.

don't have anything against Kim, but feel this is what happens when you take a golfer and try to make them an entertainer. Same if you took an entertainment and tried to make them a tour player. She's probably trying to lean into being quirky and it comes off like that. Credit to her for trying, its hard to do. Golf isn't really that funny of a subject for the 4 hours it requires, layer on top having to keep it PG maybe PG13.

For some reason, I really don't like Ernie Johnson as a golf commentator.  Maybe that's just me.  But it seems that he really doesn't know the game.

The interaction between the players and with the booth was great. They were having so much fun. Made it a pleasure to watch.
