Just noticing whilst I run through the leaderboard that Scottie Scheffler no longer has the Titleist logo listed next to him on the Tour website. Certain that any contracted ball user would have Titleist listed next to their name. Theegala for example, is a PING staffer but has the Titleist logo next to his name. Is Scottie away from Titleist or simply no longer contracted?

I swear I saw a video just a few days ago of Scottie and Jordan using different Titleist balls hitting shots into greens with the Titleist ball rep and now it's gone from YouTube.

Yeah it has definitely been wiped from the record! It was Soly from NLU with Spieth and Scottie. Sure from listening to the podcast that it was filmed late spring/earlier summer but only made it out in November or December from memory and there is no sign of it anywhere. If you Google it, the links to the Titleist page are now dead as well.

Gonna have to buy a few years worth of Nike golf shoes if the rumours are true about them pulling the plug on their golf range.

He was using the Pro V1 all tournament, I’m guessing he’s no longer contracted

I really liked those TW 13 shoes in black and white, only issue is they were hot as hell if it was warm out.  Nothing else in the TW line ever appealed to me.  
 

Will be interesting to see how he looks with the next company / no Nike logos.

Same as Chris Kirk. Plays the Pro-V1x and does not have Titleist next to his name nor is he listed on the Titleist website. Scheffler was listed on the Titleist website as a Pro-V1 ball player as recent as Tiger's Hero event in December.

I feel like this rumor is overblown. Majority of Nike's current golf shoes are just variations of shoes that already exist for running or style. They don't have to put much extra effort into making a golf shoe. Also I feel like the Jordan shoes sell to well for the to pull out completely. 

 

It seems like their focus is changing though which is why you saw the release of a lot more Jordan related items this year. Wondering if they are going to go more lifestyle centric for golf rather than the golfer as an athlete that they had been pushing.

Interesting moves here, Bad Birdie seems to be gaining some traction and finally not an IG golf influencer. 

 

The Flag & Anthem company looks interesting, cheaper options but will see if anything improves on their line from current eye test. 

 

The JRose move is interesting, Bonobos can make some really nice stuff but man nothing was ever in stock and I think PM will suit him better.

A lot of changes coming at Nike. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

It does seem a bit strange, we will see which way they go.

 

Their golf shoes are one of the few types which are actually waterproof.

Definitely going the style route, look how many people wearing jordan 1s. I own them definitely not athletic but I am used to wearing boots 10 hours a day so I don't mind them
