Anything related to a feline species logo in golf reminds me of Slazenger even though most would not know of it.

Unless Google is wrong.....  The "power color" of a Capricorn is not red.

I see the comments about the "rule of three" but I still find the change of Sunday to Sun Day odd. Is it supposed to have a double meaning along the lines of this is what Tiger wears on Sundays and what you (the general public) wear on Sun(ny) Days? I'm medium at best on the tiger logo as well. Overall, I don't see any of this stuff in my cart in the future. Hoping Lululemon will continue to move further into the golf apparel game. ABC pant is the best for golf.

• I think this new apparel line/launch could make TW even more focused to win.  Imagine if he were to win again this year in this new line.  That would definitely spark excitement and drive the masses to the product for sure.  This new product lineup could actually be a very good thing for TW fans even though some of us are severely underwhelmed…

Still going in Europe, unfortunately not the premium brand it was in Seve's heyday (when you watch old tourneys Slazenger and Penguin are really visible), but if you want some light shorts or pants you can't go wrong.

 

As to Sun Day Red ... SDR, folks want HDR these days.

I don't follow "socials", and don't care what is being said on the vapornet.  The name and brand is obviously getting a ton of impressions though.

So it's designed for the youth, but what social media is saying doesn't matter? Riiiiight. 

 

Anything with Tiger's name on it is going to get a ton of impressions, doesn't mean it's going to sell when half the reactions from them are people laughing or saying it's not for them. I promise you the sentiment analysis for this reveal isn't positive.

Logo is ok and cool significance, but seperating Sun and Day is quite jarring and it also might be the weakest font choice....

Hope it goes well though, but prices are steep (what brand isn't though!)

The logo is cool, it reads well from a distance and has personal significance etc etc. I dig "SDR" as an acronym and the placement around the logo is neat too. But this?

I think we need to consider the apparal sans logo for a bit and discuss that.

 

Looking at tiger yesterday in these the fits look good actually (even for tiger)... the polos look like they are ultra high end materials with some of the other items being performance fabrics. Styling is old school but the fit of the Greyson style collar and form fitted look its pretty decent. Market for luxury goods seems to get bigger as the rest of the world gets relatively poorer haha!

 

I think they did a decent job on the shoes too if you take the logos away - only so much you can do with a classic but that sole looks ultra stable. I think he would have done better (with the white pants) wearing the white pair with silver accent that he had in his hand in a video yesterday. Will be interesting to see other colours and match ups coming this week.

 

Wonder if the odd logo would have any greater appeal in Asian markets (where luxury spending is booming).
