Spieth's new UA shoes

Saw him wearing these at the tour championship, I was wondering if anyone has more info about these. Are these UA's next golf shoe?

They did release them. Limited edition and sold out silly-quick.

these remind me of the dry joys casul, granted, these have spikes the the casuals don't. whereas the limited UA shoes that were released this summer had a more DNA vibe to them. I think I prefer that look a little more.

I prefer the LE over these as well.

I kind of like these.

Who knows if these will ever go on sale. Under Armour must not be interested in selling shoes or something.

Looks like a very flat, stiff, rigid sole, kinda like the lc3

I like the fact that they have had three or four different golf shoes before they release a retail version. It gives me confidence that they are going to release a proper shoe rather than a shoe to capitalize on Jordan's popularity.

I saw these in person up close at the BMW Championship. From the side, they are OK. However, looking down at them, all of the perferations on the toe look terrible IMHO. They are much more pronounced than in the pictures above.

I think it's because there is no arch on the outside of the shoes.

Looks like what a nurse would wear.

I had the Drive One's. They were lookers for sure but not comfortable at all. Was happy to sell them and capitalize on 22YOJS' Masters victory.

I like the look of these. Maybe we'll see them...

I was thinking the same. Or the new one looked a little LC3. Why no branding on these? On TV his shoes did look like nurses shoes, you'd think they'd blaze the UA "X" logo more prominently.

I think the shoes look pretty stylish and better than his previous version.
The fit of the upper looks more form fitting and the perforations probably allow for a more comfy ride.
I hope they make these for the public and also in a spikeless version.

The upper looks like Speedform which is in their runners and the midsole looks like charged cushioning which is their newer cushioning set up . But yes I agree very plain Jane looking.

I'm a fan. Probably will be another limited release though...

I actually think the up close pics look a lot better than they did on tv. That said I think I like his old shoes better. I love ua clothing but not sure if the shoes will lure me away from Nike. I be willing to give them a shot of they would ever release a production model

I hope this exact model and color make it out to retail. I am in and a fan of the comfort & width of UA.

funny that UA can't even mass produce the last model, and now they come out with a new one.

UA is completely dropping the ball with their golf line. You can bet that if Nike were his sponsor they would have all kinds of shoes ready to be sold, as well as apparel. You want into the UA flagship store here in Chicago and look for a polo he wore and they don't have it, when you ask for the shoes they hold back their laughs. I know alot of people that want to buy their product, but they can't find it. Crazy

These will be released in the spring with a few other lines. The old ones he was wearing were pulled by kevin plank as he didn't like somethings about them and didn't want it to be his first impression in the golf world.

Any idea of color options on these? I would not mind just 3 colors, white, black and navy.

Although I replace my spikes when the legs no longer exist. I don't need any wear indicators.

I liked the look of the Drive Ones better. Wish I had a pair actually.

Look for a line of shoes similar to the Gemini with a variety of colors.

Spieths previous model look much more supportive. From the pictures these look thin and unstable

They look the sort of shoes that your mum bought for you when you were a kid. You needed a new pair of trainers and she comes home with these to surprise you! Not good.

Kevin Plank wont sell anything that isnt 100% ready to sell.....given that Speith complained of discomfort with the first set of UA golf shoes, Plank went back to the drawing board and came up with these.

They'll be released, but again Plank is a perfectionist so it'll take some time.
