How to ruin watching the PGA tournament

MaddMaxx

Recommended Posts

I was watching the online stream from PGA dot com.

The announcers were so unbearable I had to mute the streams most of the time.

I understand they want to give PGA members a chance but when they descend into if a handshake or fist bump is more acceptable.

OR

"I want to give you a hug" then "I am open to that"; it is beyond inane.

They have far from professional voices, at least what comes of of them needs to be better.

Thankfully CBS had Sir Nick.

Rant off.

I remember when you would be lucky to just get back 9 coverage on a major network only, saturday and sunday.

This is the true definition of 1st world problems.

Yes, I remember that as a kid.

I also remember when you had four choices for coffee.

Black, w/Cream, w/Sugar, or w/Cream and Sugar

Now, I see guys wearing capri pants drinking complicated coffee drinks through an environmentally safe straw.

I mean... I did have to find my phone so I could change the channel when they switched to CBS coverage Sunday while my remote was charging across the room, so it was basically the same as "the good old days". ;)

I prefer to drink my 16oz blended ice half caf skinny vanilla latte with a stainless steel straw. I found the environmentally friendly paper straws were not thick enough and I had to use a compostable spoon. /s

Sounds like progress to me. Plastics are bad and old ideas of masculinity need to die.

Plastics are bad?

Look around you - plastics and synthetics are everywhere.

Shakes head in disgust. How you can build a bridge that far is beyond me. From plastics bad to I hate men ? Wow.

Says the "guy" who responds to a thread on his computer or phone made of plastic, commenting on a TV broadcast watched on a device made of largely plastic. But enjoy wearing your capri pants this summer, I hear they are comfy.

Bingo. I don’t know I love Lucy and Andy Griffith was black and white until 1986 or so. I thought it was just our tv.

Thank you. Depends largely on what fabric the capris are made from. I usually just roll my jeans up to my calves.

And of course, wanting to change how society uses plastic doesn’t mean my home is plastic-free. I try to do my part, but I am also pragmatic and know that plastics may be necessary in some uses.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
