Ok we will see how this year goes.
Always a classy bag. Let’s go YJS!
Finally got a new Superstroke on that putter.
I think (hope) he is poised to have a good year. Won't get to #1 but I think he can win a couple of times. Golf is better when he's playing well! (In my opinion, obviously)
I'm hoping he can turn it around this year... Love watching him play
This is the second time we've seen grips that look pretty chewed up on longer clubs, interesting.
We can point to these pictures when people ask about his best up putter Grip later in the year
A hybrid and 4 utility? He doesn’t start T irons til 5?
isn’t that a new driver shaft for him?
Still 2* separation and very different shafts in the hybrid vs. the U500 4i, plus the 4i could easily be bent weaker.
He has been in the Ventus for quite awhile now.
i don’t follow him too closely, so wasn’t sure, thought he used that same orange shaft in all his woods.
He's actually never used the AD-DI is in his driver, surprisingly. From 2013 until now he has been Diamana Blueboard -> Aldila Rogue Black -> Aldila 2KXV Blue -> Graphite Design IZ -> Ventus Blue. All similar shaft profiles, but i've always wondered why he never had the AD-DI in there.
The other weird thing is that the yellow/black SS grips are like 5 years old.
Interesting he hasn’t switched to the SM8’s. I know he is usually slower to switch than others but it seems most Titleist staffers have bagged them straight away.
Always a good bag to see! Sort of bag that you look at and could just about think, yeah, I could use a lot of that in my bag as well.
hope he figures it out this year
Driver: Callaway Mavrik (9°) / Tour AD-DI
Fairway: Callaway Mavrik (16.5°) / Tour AD-DI
Hybrid: Callaway Apex '19 (20°) / Tour AD-DI
Irons: Callaway X-Forged (4i-9i) / KBS Tour V
Wedges: Callaway MD4 (46.10 - 50.10 - 54.08 - 58.08) / KBS Tour V
Putter: Odyssey Works Versa V-Line BGT Stability Shaft
Ball: Chrome Soft X Triple Track
Needs to start the season fresh with a restoration on that 009... lookin pretty raggedy these days.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a putter change if he continues to struggle this year - I hope not as I've always liked his putter but that seems to be one of the first things players often tweak.
Interesting that Titleist is on board with him playing the older 915 3-wood. Might cause a run on those on ebay.. lol
Don't have it in front of me but I think his putting stats from 2019 were pretty good. It was all the other stuff.
Yeah, Spieth putted really really well in 2019. It is the ball striking that caused him the problem.
It was his best statistical putting season of his career. He just can’t seem to find the center of the club face with the rest of the bag.
Fights a 2-way miss off the tee
Lets go Spieth.
Man, that grip on his driver!
I hope he makes a comeback... JS can be fun to watch!
REALLY surprised Spieth hasn't won on tour since the 2017 Open Championship. He only needs to win the PGA to complete the grand slam! Hopefully 2020 will be his year. GO JORDAN!!!!!!!!
Never! I'm pretty sure he has said that he likes the "broken in" look...he wants it rusty and beautiful like it is.
One of the best looking Cameron's on tour. Classic and vintage.
I have 915f and ts2 fairways.... they are practically the same as performance, flight, spin!
They'll have to pry my 915F from my cold dead hands... or it'll break... whatever comes first
ts2 plays well, but it's not a revolution.......i need to try the ts3 !!!
