The issue with Pebble is it’s just not long enough. For example, one of the long-ish par 4s was playing 447 today (which isn’t long to them) and plenty of dude hit it in the rough but only had wedge in. Still love Pebble and this is going to be a great tourney, but guys are too long these days and pretty damn accurate out of the rough.

A little easy but if there's a course I'd be happy to let that go on the US Open rota, it's Pebble Beach. Looked great on TV, particularly the greens, looked fairer and truer than the baked out brown ones they had in 2010. Pebble is a bit like America's St Andrews, it needs weather conditions to protect it. If it's perfect conditions, then maybe you just have to accept players will go low on the day.

I did not hear the conversation. If Jordan wanted to hit different clubs and was talked out of it? Then that could be cause for what he did. Yes, he hit it but these guys right or wrong rely totally on their caddies for yardage and club selection.

Hard to say, the course can bare teeth real fast. I know it's really not saying much but I would bet between -5 and -8. Is the winning score. Unless someone just get stupid keeps shooting scores. But after the cut everyone tees off a bit later especially the leaders and the field tightens up.

Eh, the weather's gonna come in this weekend. We're not even supposed to get into the 70s in LA - which is nuts considering it's the middle of June. Can easily expect it to be 5-10 degrees cooler up north.
