What putter did you just buy ?

Have been playing with a SC X7.5 since they came out and really like it. However, I really wished they had a plumbers neck in the Phantom line. Have messed around with EVNROLL putters before and came VERY close to purchasing an ER5 a couple years ago. Excited to give this a try when it hopefully arrives in a few weeks...

Just traded for a Toulon Garage Le Mans that looks just like this (not my actual putter, but identical from address). Stroke Lab shaft and Super Stroke Pistol Tour grip.   It is sweet.  So easy to line up, and the feel is incredible.  My first Toulon, so far, I'm blown away by it.

Very cool/Unique piece right there.. How does it feel?

I like the idea of eliminating the shoulders & keeping all the weight at the very bottom like that..

Is that a Foresight Fiducial stuck on there as sight dot?

That's what drew me to this model..a 3 piece model...all welded together. Cant find that anywhere else. Never even seen it outside of Lamont's work.

It is actually a nice firm feel. Nothing like hitting a smooth face, but I did opt for a very very light face milling.  It's carbon aswell, so it has a nice firm feel which i like.

The sight dot is actually a stainless steel inlay. It is pressed in.

^Theres always something about seeing a swoosh in the cavity that gets me going, hoping to come across a clean method myself one day.

But back on track, finally pulled the trigger on a special select np, was between it and the pld anser(anser just felt too soft, though i wanted to like it more). Surprised that it says it should be here by tuesday, despite custom length and ordered wednesday*.

Cure RX4.  I know there's about zero interest in Cure putters.  They're not well known monstrous laughable things that most might think wtf.  But I love the look, weight, adjustability, highest MOIs around, and most importantly feeling confidence inspired when putting.  The CX3 mallet has by far been my best putter, and I recently picked up the big blocky RX4 (12.5k MOI, adjustable lie, weight) to mix it up sometimes with a squarer shape.

Always had a thing for long blade lengths - Ping Pal 4, TM Sebring, SeeMore FGP - over squatter Anser styles and mallets.

They might be ridiculous.  Playing partners always ask.  Don't care, I love it!  RX4, SeeMore, CX3:

To me it's a "step change" of a putter vs switching from one common type of putter to another.  Less worry about aim and strike variance, and more focus on the goal and putting a smooth stroke... just works for me.

My Queen B No. 6 at 33" still has the stock Jumbo Lamkin, and I need to to do the same. Never loved the grip and I've had to add an entire heel to toe strip of lead tape across the bottom to get to the heavier swing weight that I prefer. Are the Betti weights listed online for their grips accurate, in your experience?

Probably not especially when they used to have the Jumbo Lamkin Deep Etch listed at the same weight as a regular Deep Etch. Not sure how a solid rubber grip can be the same.

Most of their grips are just OEM grips with their branding so look on the grip brand site or something like Grips4Less for weight.

Nah, CX1 is small vs the RX line 😁

The big MacGregor Response and its story with Nicklaus and his 86 Masters win is pretty cool, but I guess the big funky putter thing didn't have long term legs.  Spaceship mallets are popular but not so much long heel toe lengths 🤷‍♂️

That is what I noticed, as well.  I have the Sink Fit on the QB (previously had Deep Etch on the prior model QB). The Betti Sink Fit is definitely a rubber grip and not the lighter polyurethane model that Lamkin makes, which caused me to question the listed weight.

I will pull the grip and get it on a scale, and then choose accordingly based upon that.

Rubber Sink Fit weights from Grips4Less:

70g (Skinny Pistol), 120g (Trad. Pistol), 114g (Straight)

Obviously give or take a few grams.

Yes, the grip on my putter is actually a Bettinardi branded Iomic 65g standard grip. I weighed it before installing it. 64.8g

Well see, I still think the listed weight for the Straight Sink Fit on the Betti site is wrong, which says 72 grams.  I think it is likely in the 114 range above, which is a huge difference. I will know when I get it removed soon.

Rubber is dense, a lot of people probably don't realize that or even think/care about it.
