LOL wut? That putter is cooler than all the $999.99 putters that are posted in this thread. I find older putters much cooler than all the hot new bells and whistles stuff people think will magically make them more putts LOL

I purchased a new new old stock Tear Drop Select 41 from an ebay seller and was surprised at how heavy the head is , including an E1 swing weight, which to me swings out of balance. I installed a heavy weight 117 gram Pure Oversize grip which has brought the swing weight down to D2 and plan to play Tuesday to give this one its maiden voyage.

I randomly picked this up while killing time at PGA Superstore and couldn’t miss a putt. So I bought it and went to a practice green for 90 minutes. It kind of feels like cheating so far.

RollFace Technology baby! I’ve got a few TearDrops around here. They’re solid putters. Several others have tried a version of that face. 
 

By the way, E1 would not be an unusual swing weight for a putter. Guerin Rife says D7 is the sweet spot for putters but heavier and in to the E range is not unusual. Some like lighter. It’s really a personal preference.  But I also don’t like the head to feel too heavy. Balanced weight makes me less wristy.

It is like cheating! Once you get the alignment figured out, the putts will roll right down the line every time.

My current putter is a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 with SS Pistol GT 2.0 grip.  Decided I need to try something new so ordered the new Odyssey AI One 7S, I'll have it in a week or so.  I've never used anything but the Newport 2 until now so will be interested to see how this experiment goes.  Also switching up the grip to a SS Tour 2.0.

The 20% off at LAB Golf Outlet was too good to pass up - I had rolled the Mezz ridiculously well in the PGA Superstore (same as you @Sean124) and the Link hasn't been clicking for me. Went for it in red!

To me, the Link still has the LAB magic while looking/feeling/sounding better and being easier to align.

Philip is awesome. He fit me for my first LAB putter.

I rolled this thing for the first time yesterday in my local store and it felt amazing!  Love the shape as well.  The smaller shaped fangs are some of my favorites, just hard to find.

Yeah I had to get the orange grip to match the headcover fur lol and no it's just a regular plumbers neck offset

Just received the Sacks Parente 54 center shaft. Initial testing says this one is a winner! Almost can't miss 10 ft or less.

For me the center shaft makes the most sense with all the putter force at the middle of the putter head. So that is a given. 

Where the Sachs, for me, really made a difference was the wide red line in the center. it makes lining up the putt so much easier.

YMMD, but count me in those whom are sold on this type of putter.

BTW, have you noticed the number of pros who are using a center shafted putter? Most especially on the LPGA tour. Brooke Henderson was an early convert and boy did she get my attention!

Didn’t care for the feel of the Odyssey Ai-One Milled.  I was going to wait for the Seven DB to be released in February but the golf gods knew I couldn’t wait so as luck would have it, I found a used Ai-One White Hot lightly used in the used bin at Carls Golfland.  Then I found a Tri-Hot 5K the other day as well, so just waiting on a new grip for the 5K before I do some basement putting test with these 2 vs my gamer Odyssey V-Line White Hot Pro. 

 

5k head seems just a touch bigger.  Both are larger than the Milled Seven head when I compared them in the store.
