Yep, it's a Sensor WB with a new neck design from him. I'd say it looks just a smidge more narrow than a BB8W.

I have always liked Scotty Cameron’s Newport 2 mid slant.  Found an old one and got it. It’s been beat on a long time.  But the face is flat it feels great and yesterday’s first round with it I made a lot of putts.  Almost happy to miss cause I got to use it again, such a good feeling thing.

I purchased the Odyssey White Hot Versa 3T Putter at 35”. The White Hot insert gives a nice soft feel. The distinctive ruby red Odyssey Stroke Lab shaft is very stable now that they’ve shortened the silver section of the shaft. The small mallet head is full of alignment aids with the contrasting jet black and snow white stripes making it simple for me to square the face at address. I’ve been putting with a custom fit Edel putter since 2013. The Odyssey his proven to be a more effective “magic wand” for me.

Yes. It's going to be media blasted and black PVD coated so it wont age/rust/patina differently. There is a general sense that carbon and stainless "shouldnt" be welded together (but can) due to the combined material of weld that forms - but its a golf putter head and an extremely tiny weld so not a high stress or large format weld by any means.

Who is doing the work? I plan to do the same with a studio design 5. Not sure what neck donors he has but it could also be a stainless neck on the carbon head

Ray @ East Coast Custom Putters. Not sure what he has available but I asked and he showed me that one, and I thought it would be really cool to have a cameron neck on it instead of the generic plain ones most refinishers use.

First Bettinardi anything. I liked the shape and it doesn't feel horrible.  Going to toss it in the bag for a two day tournament. What could go wrong?

Coming from a 30 year old ping darby, my sense of feel might be limited. 😆 

 

Although I tried a Newport select 2 once, it did feel horrible.

I just bought a yamada kamakura and a Jean baptiste 701p2.  I have eyed both for years and scored what hopefully are good examples at a solid price.   The JB really is something that I was unsure of being overpriced or not but I had to try it after looking at so many across the years.  I am excited and cautiously optimistic.  I also grabbed a sick lajosi this summer that feels amazing.

I am a Bettinardi fan so I recently picked up a BB8W and I wanted to try out a graphite shaft so I sent in the putter and grip to KBS and they threw it all together with a GPS shaft. I have to say when I pulled it out of the box, I was super skeptical. At first, it felt a little weird and light. However, once I started putting with it, it was immediately apparent how forgiving it is. No matter how off center I hit the ball, the putt would never stray much more than a few inches from the intended line. My confidence grew pretty quickly and I was even hitting long putts to within 5 feet. I am pretty stoked on this one!

Since the Jailbird 380 wasn’t released in Europe, I decided to make something similar. 
 

I bought this Seven Versa with slant neck on sale and ordered KBS CT putter shaft and the super stroke 17” grip.  
 

It was finished today and I just came back from a 18 hole round. 
 

It’s 39” and I’ve added the 25g weights from my tri hot 5k. 
 

Putter head - 385 grams

shaft - 124g 

odysssy counter balance weight - 50g

super stroke grip - 97g

 

In total: 656 grams. 

 

I’m enjoying this build so far. Feels like a tank and putted really well with it today 😁

Just picked these up. Supposedly the oil can was refinished by BOS a few years ago. The Newport Beach was rated lower on 2nd Swing because there was a sharpie line on the top. 
 

I’m gonna have a top line added to the Oil Can and a dot added to the Newport Beach.
