Man, you guys are making we wish I hadn’t sold my 731 PM’s now. They definitely are sweet sweet clubs! Enjoy them!! :)

My G 3 wood showed up yesterday, I only ordered it Thursday, that was fast! I love how it frames the ball, I can’t wait to use it this weekend at the simulator. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a keeper :)

Yes, I was going to take a picture with the covers off, but I got to play them a day last week and they are dirty. lol Ordered a new G400 Max driver so hopefully that will come in later in the month.

I hit the 3w once in my round and the 5w twice. The 3w shot was the second shot on a par 5 and I hit it further than I hit my G30 3w. I typically hit a 5w about 220 yards so I pulled it out on the tee of the same par 5 mentioned from the 3w. It is about 220 to the lake on the right side so I aimed down the left side of the FW and hit it pretty good. It most certainly would have been wet if I went down the right side. The 2nd shot with the 5w was my second shot on a par 5 on the back and again, I hit it well. It felt great, but like you said, this is my first time out. I will say that I always felt uber comfortable with a wood in my hand and these clubs did not disappoint.

I love long irons. Have found different soles react better in soft or firm conditions. I often rotate my 3-4 iron clubs. I sometimes just do it to collectthem

 

I had a Mizuno H4 2i 18* in 2014 and loved the club. It was almost too long for my gapping at the time. Preferred the feel and look over the updated versions tbh (H5 & Fli-Hi).

 

Snagged a mint condition 3i for $34 shipped. Will likely shaft with my reliable Nippon SPB X. Feels like a win on so many levels. Solid addition.

Yeah, their old Fli-Hi models were great, even the T-Zoid back in the day which I still have in my American bag. I love the U/DI/hybrid irons as well. The 712U, B'stone's J33 Airmuscle, the Apex UDI, TM's UDI, even Exotics made some good ones, I have the CB PRO h of theirs in 18* 2i, 21* 3i and a 24* 4i.

 

But Mizuno possibly has the best with the Hi-Fli, excepting the H5 which I didn't really like either...
