Favorite Time to Tee Off

What is your favorite time to tee off? During your peak season if you have a season.

 

I would choose between 7:30-8:00AM. Not to early for the crack of dawn but still get pretty fresh greens and it's my favorite time of day.

I'm not good enough to play two different sets of greens in the same round, plus the old bones work a bit better when it's warmer.

6:00 am or 3:30 pm. Course usually very quiet at both times.

5:30 am. Usually the first group out. Freshly cut greens are the best to putt on

Early morning is best before the HEAT...........but not to early where the dew is still on the fairways and greens say around 8:00am~9:00am.........twilight (4:30pm~5:30pm) is good also a good time down here in FLA.

From June through September, between 6am and 8am to avoid the heat. November through May, anytime works for me but I still prefer early in the am.

8:00 A.M. for weather & 4:30 P.M for weather/less traffic(golfers/course maintenance).

Usually 530 -630 am. If i am one of the first ones out i am usually home by 930, anr still have a whole day for other things. Like browsing GOLFWRX!

I like pre 8 AM times. Course is quiet in front of me and traffic is light enough to enjoy the course and the ambiance nature.

6AM is perfect, especially on weekends.

Lets face it most of the non-die hard golfers are not getting up at 5AM to go golfing. Usually the pace is good and the greens are prestine.

Mid morning to early afternoon is just 5 something hours waiting to happen.

Pro let me tee off at first light, I miss putting in the dew and putting the first tracks across the green, mowing crew would usually catch me 4 to 5 holes into my round. I got very good at changing up my putting on the spot when the crew passed me up, would walk off 18 as most were just pulling into start their round. Now that we have moved the local course is hardcore about no one on the course til official opening time and its packed and no way a single is playing til afternoon, not that I mind playing w/ a foursome but I sure miss teeing off as the sun was just rising into the sky.

After 2pm because its after the morning crowd has gone through, so the course is less crowded. Theres nothing worse than having to wait 5 minutes between shots because you are waiting for the group ahead.

I like sleeping in on the weekends so anytime in the afternoon is preferred. We normally look up the bookings the night before to see where a gap is so we can get a bit of free space but nothing before 10am.

at the moment I am teeing off anywhere between 5.15am and 6am. Back home for around 8.30-9am so I get a game in and still get to spend time with the family

In the middle of the summer it's gotta be early, 8 am . It gets too hot in South Carolina to be out in the middle of the day, walking 18 holes.
